Y-8 is still as buggy as can be. I can't get a tractor beam to work in the original turrets, haven't tried new ones yet. The pilots gun with a mk3 mining laser didn't do anything toany of the asteroids in Corellia space, but did work once I jumped to Naboo. The turrets still seem to not work unless someone is in the pilots chair. So I'm a little disappointed, after being excited about maybe getting a semi-functional y-8.

I believe I read that a pilot with ROTW has to be in the pilot's seat for mining to work. Not sure though, can I get a confirm?

There's definitely a problem here.
My Mark V Engine Overdriver schematic from the time before inspiration buffs is better than my new schematic - which uses better steel and an inspiration buff.
Before Inspiration buff, with cd 692 (100%) / oq 907 steel = Speed: 14.81088
With Inspiration buff, with cd 810 (100%) / oq 971 steel = Speed: 14.702355
Edit - Oh and of course the same Fermionic Ore was used in both.

was the first steel a SW one or a traditional one?

Yeah using the exact same resources, the speed is even lower, down to 14.384441. That's with an inspiration buff.

Elite armor made today without shipwright buff
armor : 7807.7
hit : 7570.8
mass : 254747.1
After getting shipwright inspiration
armor : 7837.6
hit 7603.0
mass : 255035.1
Made with the same materials.
I'll see what I can come up with on none POB parts.

Yep, just tested my armor and it's the same. But I just did a Mk3 Engine Overdriver and it was lower than my schematic (maxed on speed and used same materials of course).

Resources are all messed up with every profession. Nothing is going to turn out like it was pre-pub untill they get it fixed... unless this was intended.

From everyone's input it is looking like maybe CD could be the issue. Every component both ours and some others that I've read about having the problem, seem to have CD in common. Anyone else see this ?
