I say increase the stats on crafted L7 and L9 caps to bring them to usable levels, above L6. This means without nerfing L6.


Don't play Russian Rollete with the NERF gun.

This is just my opinion.. Stating that having such a continuous stream of fire indefinately makes you rely less on skilled aiming and maneuvering is entirely incorrect. It doesn't matter of you have a limited stream of fire or an indefinate one. If you can't aim or maneuver your ship to hit your target, all you're doing is creating a laser show, so whatgood would it do you to even attempt to pull the trigger in the first place? Indefinate streaming for some pilot missions is almost a required necessity to stay alive because there are times you will get missions that you will be holding that trigger down with maybe one to two second stops for a very very long time trying to fend of wave after wave of non-stop enemy ships.

I just crafted a LVL 7 Capacitor with the follwoing stats


Armour 428,8
HP :857.8
Drain : 1227.5
Mass : 15190.1
Energy : 832.3
Recharge :53.2


Either there has been a stealth buff. or you just are not using the right goods.

They must have slipped it in without telling us. I'll check it out tonight.

They finally fixed it. I just tried crafting some caps; it's true. I was able to get a mark 5 cap into the upper 50s. I bet I could reach the 60s with better resources. We do pay the price with stored energy, but YAY!!


I declare the complaint closed.

Wow. Just put together a level 3 with 892 energy and 37.8 recharge. RE'd ones are still looking better, but crafted capacitors are definitely a good, salable item now. Very impressed by this one so far.

Yeah this is awesome. The numbers I'm getting are:


Mark I - 40.3 Recharge, 991 mass
Mark II - 42.5 Recharge, 2478 mass
Mark III - 48.2 Recharge, 6195 mass
Mark IV - 53.2 Recharge, 15463 mass
Mark V - 62.0 Recharge, 38659 mass


Sorry I copy/pasted that out of my Trade forum advertisement so it doesn't list the max energy - customers don't tend to care about max energy with those recharge rates .

The Max Energy was increased too.

My Mark IV Weapons Capacitor + Quick Recharge Battery:
Mass: 15531,9
Drain: 1225,1
Max Energy: 835,9
Recharge Rate: 53,4
