I would not necessarily say that you have proven the theory. Applying scientific method, first you need to state the hypothesis. Second, you need a control. Third, I would say that your statistical sample is rather small. Who's to say that it doesn't depend on the server, the number of shipwrights on the server, how much shipwright skill you have?
In order to a test like you suggest I would need the access of a DEV or CSR and if I did have that access I wouldnt need to test it as I probably could find out without doing it. LOL

I don't necessarily agree. If you follow this logic, then the scientists that proved the theory that all molecules are made of atoms would have had to have access to God or Whatever-Supernatural-Force-Put-It-All-Together.
A control consists of having someone else on the same server doing it another way, perhaps the typical way. Statistical sampling would involve having lots of SW's do this experiment, preferably across many servers.
- only Kuat parts
- Kuat part loaded first then a different part
- different part loaded first, then Kuat part.

OK now tell me why in the 3-400 or so RE's I've done I got 6/8, 1/8, 6/8 and 6/8.
Got first disk at 2-1-1-1 (6/8)
2nd at 2-2-2-2 (1/8)
3rd at 4-4-4-4 (6/8)
4th at Master (6/8)
For me 6/8 is almost the only disk in the game.![]()

I have an alt account with which I dabble in shipwright. She's 1-1-1-1 across the board and I've RE'd 3 fragments. 1/8, 4/8, and 7/8. Given the fact it's been done with all Mk 1 and 2 components, I'm given to the belief its totally random.
