Thread: Firespray theory possibly proven

In method 2, when you loaded to a new city, how were you able to carry 900 pieces of space loot with you? The most I can carry, with 5 storage droids and a backpack, is 160 items. Just curious.

I pulled off the bazaars as I went. Each city I would hit a bazaar and pulled 100 L1 loots. Coronet, Theed, and Mos Eisley have literally tons of L1 loot on their bazaars.

This is most likely an insignificant sample size to determine anything from. The results you have gotten are possible even with a truely random number, or it would not be random.

Ah, okay. Rats, I was hoping maybe there was some method I was missing. It'd be really handy to be able to carry around 900 items on me. ![]()

I have managed to put together 3 KSE Firespray Schematics. I have about 24 extra disks as well - oddly enough the big number for me is 8/8 of which I have SEVEN.
I have tried a variety of things, moving from city to city, various levels of loot in bunches, trying to carry the other disks I have in order to "provoke" the right disk appearing, having no disks in inventory at all.
One thing I have found:It sure seems random to me!
I have had stretches of 100 RE's without seeing a disk and I have actually gotten disks on back to back RE's (once). They sure do feel like they come in clumps... but of course, you never really know.
I have no reason to believe there is any sort of "weighted" system in place with any disks being any more popular or that there are things you can do to alter the frequency of disk appearance beyond it all being entirely random.

As the other smuggler has stated: This is very similar to slicing.
Over many long and drawn out debates the smuggler community has determined that slicing is completely random. Nothing you can do will effect the outcome (including the chicken dance).

Welcome to conspiracy theory 101.
now that being said how many of you shipwrights have completed the luck line or the repair line of the force sensitive stuff?
My shipwright has that, actually =) Luck, Vehicular Control and all4 lines of Crafting Mastery.

Ok alot know I am trying to nail something down with the finding of disks. The consensus is that I am a moron and the finding of disks is totally and completely random.
