anyone here been reading the WHINNING in the expansions forum about Harvestors? (ie they do NOT want them on Kyshkkk)

LOL I have to admit, for a large section of that (until the last bit where you mentioned that you'd made it up) I had my hand over my mouth in shock!! hehe.. I can see why so many people got the wrong end of the stick, who didn't read it right.
I too can echo the sentiment that as Master Shipwright i have had many opportunities to spend time talking to and helping people, but one memorable 'bad customer' conversation comes to mind. My ignore list is very sparse indeed, and I'm a patient man, but this guy took the biscuit... below is the exchange, all spelling is as presented below.
Customer: You make ship?
ME: Yes, I certainly do. How may I help you?
Customer: I need ship.
ME: OK.... what kind of ship please?
Customer: I'm in needing fst won, cheep won
ME: right... let me make sure I understand, you want a 'fast ship' and you want to not pay a lot of money for it?
Customer: Y
ME: Ok, what kind of pilot are you?
Customer: Gud pilt, bad ship.
ME: I mean, are you imperial? or alliance? or freelance?
Customer: i
ME: Was that imperial?
Customer: Y
ME: OK... what level of imperial pilot are you? what kind of ships do you have the certifications for?
Customer: nd gd fst ship, cheep won. I'm in lite dty fiter.
ME: right then, so are you looking for the next ship up? perhaps a normal TIE Fighter?
Customer: Y
Customer: CHEEP + guns
ME: Well, i can make you a TIE Fighter blueprint, and I have many good guns for sale on my vendor at the Reavers Retreat on Lok? I'm not expensive, Iam sure you can get lots of things that you need nice and cheaply.
Customer: I nu, free shp + guns pls?
ME: Erm... sorry... I have very good prices, but I can't go giving things away :-(
Customer: i NU, FREE SHP + GUNS PLZZZ?????
ME: I understand you are new, I can help you with some good prices but not for free.
Customer: U are bad SW, i tel friend not to go yu
ME: excuse me??? Iam trying to help you out here? How does me not giving you free stuff make me a bad Shipwright?
Customer: NO SPK mor, I repot yu, bad SW not helping nu plyrs, F U
ME: A word of advice- don't ask people for help, then when they offer it, swear at them. Iam placing you on ignore now. Good day to you.

I hope you find this as amusing as I found it frustrating! lol. I'd bet this same person is one of those Coronet spammers on 3 second repeat, running around naked and going up to any and all people and spamming 'PLZ GIVE CREDS PLZ I NEW'... aggressive begging at its worst.

I think you've moved into the wrong profession. Please try out Politician and keep a diary so we can all appreciate your inate skills, although you may need to work a bit harder on the corruption angle, then the Emperor (bless his cotton socks) will be quaking in his boots.
Nice 1 keep 'em coming we all need a giggle.
By the way are you the shipwright that sold me my new master ship the CDEF Superflier? You said that it was the 1st ship to fly in the atmosphere and you could launch it from anywhere - I really like that feature, but I'm unable to get it more than a few metres off the ground. I think I may need a new engine for it too - sparks come out of the back and I lose control when it jumps a bit and my hands come off the controls, and its hyperdrive stopped working at the last patch, but it only tended to hyperdrive in reverse. Can I also upgrade the armaments? The one you sold me has a bug - I have to stop the ship and exit it before I can use the CDEF Pistol.

You *** you are a shipwright if you didnt want to make stuff for players then dont become one... you are rude and inconsiderate ... the thread should read ***** Shipwright. from what i see your customers were not rude or beligerant.... Definatly not buying stuff from you...

Yeah my bad I appologize for a while there after i posted i thought this guy was serious my appologies after reading I get the joke..... quite sad actually should learn to read on before flame on ...sorry mate no dis respect intended... but can you imagine an actuality of this would be quite the topic if it were real situation... I do understand the demands on a SW are high and quite anoying, just last night i was in Mos Eisley and a SW was waiting for a party member when this brand new player walks up to him and says please can I have a ship and the reply was what kind of ship... the guy says I want the Millinium Falcon... the sw says ok whats your pilot rating ...new guys says Novice... SW say politly i think you better get you tiers all completed then come see me ... new guy Where do I get a ship i wanna fly , can you take me up in yours .... SW replies go to your trainer he will give you one for free...New Guy says Please Gimmie a ship....at this point I felt bad for the SW and I left the conversation was going to get heated after that im sure ... so in closing sorry for the flame post ..I missunderstood but see the humor in it after completing the thread.

I dont know why butI often used to get tells for ships. Which is very strange since i never have taken shipwright.
