Another problem is JTL is short, its possible to do very quickly, and even casual playing can get you master pilot in a few weeks. After that there isn't anything to do. Get the same destroy misssions to mindlessly kill things, look for uber loots, nothing exciting. JTL only provided a few weeks of distraction from the major problems of the game, and when you have done what little there is to do in JTL you are back staring at the ground game again.

I took a week's pause from crafting.
Now I'm back in full force. I craft 100-200 items per day.
Usually 3/4ths of what I craft is gone the next day.
(Just like an endless grind)

Seems like I see more new shipwrights, actually, than before--I guess the people who didn't grind it out right away are now finally making it to master. Unfortunately, as has been noted above, sales have dropped off precipitously and I'll be surprised if many survive. Most other shipwright vendors I visit have little to nothing on them, ever.
What we need more than anything is some connectedness between JtL and SWG ground. Most people now use their ships--as do I--for rapid travel across their galaxy, but not much else. We desperately need some reason for people to fly--factional, player-controlled spacestations, space mining...something.

I am sticking with Master Shipwright. There has been a siqnificant decline, it seems on Ahazi. Ther seems to be a decline in the acres of harvesters. I control 40+ and am able to keeps a few million units of stuff in stock.
I am currently taking a break from crafting to work on the ground game.

I made enough selling lootkit items, pre nerf, and with my mining, was able to gring fairly cheaply. I sell enough to pay for my mall, without advertising, ie droid spamming.

I made lots in the first few weeks, and still have a good bankroll, but it is a little discouraging to have slow sales.
The components buyback, has also hurt my business.

Well, business is picking up even more now that so many SW's have quit- not that my sales were ever "bad" but I welcome the business. The ship vendor waypoints on the map are growing thin.

Im never going to make another chassis again and just focus on components. No money in chassis...which is too bad.

I'd guess you can say the number of shipwrights is declining. I don't know how many people are actually still Shipwrights. But what I am seeing are more vendors going without restocking and surpluses dying out (thank goodness).
