Actually, my opinion is that each "chance" to loot a Kaut disk is from the space loot item itself.

So:

10 Level 1 looted items = 10 chances to find a disk (10 seperate RE "events").

10 Level 10 looted items = 10 chances to find a disk (1 RE "event" but still 10 looted items were RE'd).

Maybe it's symantics but a looted item is a looted item.

It's sort of like gambling in Vegas or slicing weapons/armor. You have your good luck days and you have your bad luck days. If I do 100 RE's and don't get a disk, it's time for me to go do something else. If I'm on a roll, why stop now? IMO, it reallyjust depends on how things are turning out for me. Most days are average where I get a disk every 100-125 RE sessions.

I can say this, my best turnout was when I re'd a full pack of level 2 components left in the community house. 25 RE sessions and obtained 2 disks. Too bad they were both 2/8

I must be really lucky then...i havent been keeping track, but by the number of crated componet analysis tools I have consumed, i must have RE'd at minimum 1000 and at most 2000 parts. But my disk collection is as follows..

1.1.1.2.2.3.6.7.7.8.8.8.8

I've have 2 disks drop in succession one day...the most I think I've gone without hitting a dish is 80-odd pieces. Feels like I hit one every 40-50 or so.

Of course, now that I've said this my luck will change for the worse

I have never had a disk from anything over Lvl2 Re'd components.

I would like it to be clarified from above what exactly creates the the Firespray Disk.

1) Is it the RE attempt regardless of what lvl component/s are being used.

or

2) Is it based on the actual loot item.

ie. has anyone had 2 disks pop from a RE'd lvl10 component.

Lets face it Armoursmiths know exactly what drops the RIS armour components why shouldn't Shipwrights be given the same courtesy.

I must say the disk rate has been reduced in the last month.
