Khyron already hit what I think should be a minumum. Why would you charge less than what the Chassis Vendor will give you back? (Lvl * Lvl) * 1000cr. After that,I would think that you need to add value based on the knowledge of your trade. Land a killer capacitor or reactor? Charge what you think is appropriate.
Also, dump some of it with the chassis vendor, because you only threw that garbage in a RE tool hoping to get a Fragment. No one is gonna buy some of the stuff you end up with.

It depends upon how much the loot cost you in the first place, imo.
If you buy loot from others, then your prices go up accordingly. If you loot everything yourself, you can afford to price lower.

I personally don't charge to RE at all. The benefits I receive in the long run far outstrip any fee I could charge. After all, if I RE, I get a chance at KSE disks. I collect all of them, I get to make a Firespray, which I in turn sell for profit.
So, I charge nothing, but Iinsist on keeping any Disk I may get from the process.
As an aside, I RE parts for my guild. They offer ALL disks to my vendor for 1 cred each. I then collect the disks to make great parts.. Which I then place on vendor at 1 credit. All junk parts I sell off at chassis dealer, keep some for my costs (RE tools aren't free) and donate the rest to city maintenance. It works, as I get far more parts than I would if I spammed about matching Chassis Dealer prices, and my Guild gets great parts.

You're a lucky guy. My guild was all gung ho about looting for disks until they realized that it wouldn't happen overnight. Now I only get my own loot, and since there's no one left in the guild who needs RE, I have no choice but to sell it.
My current working philosophy: If people keep buying it quickly, charge the same or more but never less.

What I do is go ahead and put it on the vendor unless it's below a certain standard, like say 180 armor points and mass below 900 on a level 1 armor. If it's got a 220+ armor then I charge a little more. but every week I go through and raise the standard enough to pull a couple items off the vendor. Right now I sell the pulled items on the bazaar, and the ones that weren't good enough to make it on the vendor at all to the chassis dealer.
Armor's an easy example, most other components and even higher level armors the standards are kinda fuzzy. I'll probably start putting all level 1 & 2's on the bazaar where new pilots can find it easily as I get a larger stock of parts.
