Just made 25 mark 4 reactors. 6 of which were ruined by moderate/good/crit failures. In one case I had 3 critical failures right off the bat within 4 seperate, consecutive experimentations. I also got far less "good" and "moderate" successes, and a lot more crit fails than the mark 1 & 2's.

Did a bit of crafting this morning and didnt have any crits at all.
Well that's a good sign. How many parts did you craft ?

I've just spent a little time making 25 mark 1, and 25 mark 2 reactors. I've gotten about 11 total reactors out of 50 ruined by good successes or crit fails. I don't consider "good successes" good at all when they make my mark2 reactors = my average mark 1's. I I've gotten a total of 6 amazing successes out of 50, not enough to match the losses. Soooooo.. I am starting to think thatYES, perhaps the numbers are borked and not as they should be.

It is happening across the board, Docs, DE's, and several other crafting proffesions are reporting the same thing. I have also noticed that if I hit "amazing success" on assembly, the part will be crap as the first experiment will *always* be "good" or less success. I have kept track of my amazing assembly in my medsfor about a month now, and there have been no exceptions to this for me.
Something got really hosed. I am at the point now where, if I hit amazing on the assembly, I only experiment to see if my record will continue. And for added data, I *always* use Bespin Port on that first experiment.

That's strange. I've crafted around 125 items since yesterday and had 11 crit failures during experimentation, which is exactly standard for me.
They're either all great, amazing, or critical, though--what's up with you guys getting good and fair or whatever successes? That's kooky.

Crafted 10 sets of lvl7and 10 sets of lvl 9 armor yesterday. Each one had Reinforcement kits. I lost 1 set of lvl 7 armor due to critical failure on experimenting,1 set of lvl 9 on a "good" experiment, 1 on a "moderate" experiment, and 1 on a critical fail. I had 4 amazings, but they were always on the second or third experimental attempt. All the rest were "great".

Huh. How's your tool quality and crafting station and all that? And how many boxes are you experimenting at a time? Let's try to eliminate some variables here and see if we can pin anything down.

I can get specifics tomorrow, but for now, I'm using the 14+ tool, with a station of 40+, I just can't remember the exact #'s. I usually experiment the the whole line at once. So if it is max damage for instance, I click so the whole line it filled then run it.

Ahh, that would explain it. Some people swear by doing one single box at a time, but when you're crafting 50-100 items in one sitting, screw that. Still, I only do up to three boxes at a time, which only results in great, amazing, or critical; I'm not sure where doing more boxes at once will result in good or plain successes, but it's around 5-6 and up.
I'm not sure how well I'm explaining this--I'm kind of tired--but I find that if you experiment 2-3 boxes at once, you'll only end up with crit fails on about 10% of your items, and you can often sell them for only a modest discount, as opposed to needing to destroy them or whatever. If this is a better success rate than you're getting, you might want to give it a shot and see if it works better, as your tool and station and stuff looks fine.

I'll try that tomorrow and see what happens. Today I crafted about 20 items and had4 amazings, 1 critical, and 2 goods.
