Thanks to those that gave me all the good advice. I think the reactor/booster/missle route sounds the best, along with stocking a variety of higher end engines. Again, thank you.
Best,

If i were to open an actual SW shop, id stock:

- L1 reactors- id stock up on these. Their disposable and allow you to run RO4.

- L4 reactors (or whichever the lowest mass one you can produce thats 14K output)

- MK I thorugh MK III armor plating. HIgh armor, low mass, but doesnt last long, as a pilot, i repair them more than twice and i replace it.

- Boosters

- Misc chaff, most likely just the basic chaff and microchaff.

- Assorted missles & packs, not sure which ones, but id start with MK II image-rec.

- MK III and MK IV shields, but i woudlnt keep alot in stock, most commonly used shileds, last forever.

As for engines, personal, being a discerning pilot, i woudlnt waste my time with engines unless their RE'd. Same with capacitors. Anything less than RE'd isnt worth using.

Yes, use the overdrivers. Crafted boosters can have such high speeds that I've been able to introduce a line of PVP-class models that use the best resources to ever spawn. The resources cost a ton, but I can price the boosters at 2-3x their regular price and still do a good deal of business in them.

and if you don't care as much about speed as burntime, playing with extended life i've gotten 19+ second boosters -- haven't tried in a while, though it should be possible to break 20 seconds burn time with a maybe 25+ speed still (think last time I tried was 20ish speed)

With good resources and using overdrivers I was able to get medium high speeds with long burn times....great for getting out of dodge when needed or cutting transit time from jump point to space station...
