i use a vendor to stock my comp waiting for RE. Ill do the same for my discs.

TIPS ? And im gonna try to RE with my little droid out.

May I try alos to RE naked and saying "Oh please SOE, give me thoses preciouss discs, oh holy dev!!" ?

There is one superstition that I have when I RE. It started when I got my first disc, I was RE'ing like mad with no discs for a long time, say after 200-300 parts. One day I had my SW droid out while RE'ing and pop I got my first disc. I have had him out while RE'ing since and he seems to be pretty good luck for me. I get discs every second RE session where I do about 40-50 parts.

Hmm what worked for me was to RE near my factories (storage), it's all random

Btw.. when I was trying to complete one of my first schematics (1st or second, can't remember) I had:

Disc 1 x1

Disc 2 x2

Disc 3 x1

Disc 4 x4 (heh)

Disc 5 x1

Disc 7 x2

Disc 8 x2

And it took me one week to find a SW with a double Disc 6.

This was pre CU,the problem is that the acklay is very hard to reach now and I dont think they are still worth what they were worth before CU,I always did the acklay with a friend,now you need a group of 8 or 2 master defender + lvl 4 sabers Jedis.

I ripped the TRE files and saw a mention of using a live chicken in conjunction with re'ing to get better results

Your suppose to strip to your underwear, run in circles 5 timesaround a dead nightsister, sleep with a wookie, then RE inside your sorosuub using 2 Kuatpartswith a live chicken in one hand. ..Pretty sure thats what the chicken was about. This way its only 1 in 200 that gives you a chip. Try it i guarantee 1 in 200 with this method

The sleeping with a wookie kills it. Looks like no chips for me.

We've made 5 full schematics and in our experience level doesn't matter. We get about one schematic piece for every 100 RE'd parts we create and often just camp lvl 1 spawns just to get parts for this reason.

This subject has been a point of frustration for me in the last few weeks.. I have RE'd about 1000 parts and not one disk has dropped. Before CU I use to get tons of disks, but now, nothing.

Haha, I didn't mention that when I Re with my droid out I have it lubed up with petrochemicals. Naturally my pans and shirt are off as well with just my overcoat on, Heffner style.

I must be the most unlucky pearson in the game. After doing aorund 3000 RE all I have for my trouble is 5 4/8 discs. Since my 5th I have done around 1500 RE and received none.

There is only one thing I am unsure of, if you make the tool via a factory does it mean I won't get any discs? It seems to be the case because I am getting a bit anoyed that I hae done well over 4000 RE and only received 5 discs considering on average (reading threads) you suposed to be getting a disc every 300 RE.

i compleated 3 sets so far.

BUT, ever since pub 17, i have not had even one disk drop, over about 400RE atempts (yes i dont RE as much as i used to =p)

i used to get them at a 1:90 aprox rate....
