Actually, the 150k resource shipsare only available at master SW. Tier 4 ships (A-wing, TIE Advanced, ect...) take 80k resources and yield 21k XP and are available at Space Frame Engineering IV. Though there may be other schematics that have a higher XP/resource yield, it'd take forever to rack up the mil + XP needed to master. But, to each their own...

"EM EMITTER PACKS have 1000/250 (steel/metal) requirements.

IFF CONFUSER PACKS have 2000/500 (steel/metal) requirement."

Its exactly the other way.... IFF are 1000/250 and give better exp per unit and the EM gives no good exp per unit.

I agree too, but sanity will not be the result either way. Once you are Master - it getsREALLY crazy, especially if you advertise. Long lines, constant tells and emails and a never ending crafting grind to just keep a little stock up for more than 10 minutes. My station is behind my vendors and my resource stock is within reach as well, as I am not allowed to move. At the moment it is impossible to meet demand unless you can stay on 23 hours a day. I'm putting in 12 hours and my fingers are aching already. Carpal tunnel will be here within the week....

I actually have to stop advertising during prime time now, to keep my lines under an hour. At first people would whine and cry about having to wait their turn (now I feel for the buffing docs), but they are getting used to waiting now and have become quite pleasant. The nicest ones garner a discount....

I just feel like I have become the Vendor now, and I can't see where I should click on me to pay maintenance. There's no radial anywhere. Can you help?

hehe

def. level 3 for both the packs and the launcher, and it will take allot of them

a tear 4 ship takes 150k or resources for about 45k of xp, to get the same amount of xp would take aprox. 39 iff packs at 48750 resources

its good xp but i think its better to grind with chassis that way u can store all the bluprints in ur houseand go to the dealer everytime someone wants that kind of ship and not have to make blueprints for ages, after i made tonnes of each tier ship i might either go to the countermeasure packs or grind chassis in practice mode until the next tier ship

actually there is some difference in the chassis when you make master and can experiment them up...

I hate to sell crap to people, so I will use this methodto get to master.

After grinding out armorsmith, weaposmith, droid engineer for holo grind - this is cake

Crafting chassis is the way to go! Got my guild to donate resources and also sell me resources for 1cpu. I was able to get the tier-4 chassis box in a matter of a few hrs but ran out of steel. Making Starships chassis takes more steel than any other resource! So, I put down about 8 heavy mineral harvesters on a 78% spawn of Thorium steel on Dantooine just outside of our city on Bria server. In just a few days should have the steel needed to master SW. Get your guild to help you by setting up harvesters to get you resources, as it is to their advantage to get you to master SW as fast as possible. The plus side is that you can master SW in a few days and then make ships for free for your guild members who helped you out with resources.

I mastered Weapon Smith and it took massive resources and was really painful and boring. However, grinding SW is actuall fun to make all this cool high tech stuff and figure out how it works in ships. Our guild also set up a space loot vendor for me to reverse engineer all this cool loot to see what neat stuff we can craft to make our ships even better.

Get the resources and or credits to buy resources from build members......you will be so much happier to master SW in days to a week or two insted of months. SW takes millions in resources but for those of us who have been playing since launch, we have the resources and credits to have the materials to master SW in a matter of hrs to days. A newbie player on the other hand, prob will take months to get the credits and resources to master SW.

SW is really a fun proff to grind...............won't be long before I can make millineum falcon's at master shipwright!
