Somehow all i have met yet claimed that chassis was the best grind and also would cost the same resources as any other.

This is a big mistake. You can get about 0,5 exp per unit if you make IFF countermeasure packs (forgot how they are exactly called). They take 1k steel and 250 metal and give 600+ exp

Just if anyone cared =)

the thing is i think people rather craft like 300-400 times rather then almost 3,000 It's In-game resources/Creds Vs. Sanity

yeah. that is good information, but in the end, it is a trade off between time and credits/resources expended. if you can afford chassis, it is much quicker. in my case, since I am also selling all the chassis I grind at a reasonable profit, I chose to stick with the chassis. but I can afford it.

What i think is extremly interesting as well is that the next level of countermeasure packs gives less exp per unit then those do.. so you would have to stick with these till master.

Thanks a lot. Have you looked at the xp per unit for many items? I am just wondering if there possibly are some even better items to craft. 1/2 xp per unit is till very low compared to most other crafting profession where you generally aim for about 2 xp per unit.

His point is that chassis *don't* give the best "return" on an XP per resource basis - they are just the *fastest* to do. He found another component that gives a much better "return" on an XP per resource basis - but you have to make a zillion of them.

granted, i'm not in game to verify but i believe

EM EMITTER PACKS have 1000/250 (steel/metal) requirements.

IFF CONFUSER PACKS have 2000/500 (steel/metal) requirement.

it will be interesting to experiment a bit and see the yield on these; Ive got several of each chasis ready to sell and am just going to practice until the next level unless i can do it in a less resource intensive way using these.. i don't have massive resources available to me either.

I would not suggest grinding IFF countermeasures for people with little money and resources. If you dont have that much then you are depending onyour sales to supply money for the next round of resources. The chassis will sell a lot better thancountermeasures. Plus grinding IFF would be much more mind numbing and longer than chassis.
