See how much easier this would be if I could post the guide - please Mr Wallace - if you want I can PM the guide to you and you can post it, or you can PM me specific permission.

But as long as the NDA is still in force I can't break my word. I hold too many secrets for you guys and can't have you not trust me to keep secrets.

Oh, and thanks for being around, it's great to have you here and posting

Dude seriously the NDA isn't still up becasue this is now live. I never signed an NDA so if you want that thing posted send it to me and I'll post it. Either way the NDA is no longer in effect because it is no longer enforcable because people have access that aren't under it.

However, the data in the guide was obtained from the beta, which means to me that the NDA, if not lifted, still applies to it. Had the guide been completed in the live server, then yeah the NDA would not apply. Hang in there.

Pretty simple then post what you have gotten from the live server then.

My understanding as well - also some parts of the guide are based on feedback received from other beta testers, and more importantly from DP himself.

As soon as I get word I can publish it will be out there - I have a window open right now with the guide in it set to release it to this forum as soon as I press submit post.

A quick clarification for anyone interested in space mining:

You'll notice that the craftable mining tools require asteroid resources to make. "How can that be?", I hear you yell! "If I don't have a mining laser, how can I mine asteroids to get these resources?"

Fear not! If you go to level 1 of the Great Tree in the Wookiee city of Kachirho, you can talk to Flash Harrison, who will start you on a introductory space mining quest series. As you progress through that quest, you'll get the basic tools you need to begin space mining. Once you have these, you can mine the resources to make new lasers, and the cycle of crafting begins anew.

Hope that helps!

Darth, what ever happened to those supposed Y-8 only mining lasers and tractor beams?

Thats about the most redundant thing I have ever read here. And that's saying something.

Yea I have another good one for you. The NDA for Beta JTL was never offically lifted either they just let everyone into the beta SOOO does that mean we are all violating it by posting in these fourms? hmmmm

Here's the deal, I was told, by a dev, to wait till a dev said the NDA is lifted. So far I have not been told by a dev that the NDA is lifted. I've been watching all day for the word.

The JTLBeta NDA was lifted. It was lifted shortly before the release to live (about 48 hours IIRC).

I know you guys want me to release the info but I won't until either I get a PM or a red name post (or IIscandar does in the Corres forumand tells me we are clear) telling me I can.

This is about making sure the devs know when they ask me to do something or let me in on info (as has happened in the past and a number of pieces of info I have that aren't in and of themselves covered by NDA but are kept secret for a variety of reasons) they know they can trust me not to go releasing info they aren't ready to release.

It might seem silly to some - but for me the ability to trust someone is based on experience, and if I violate that trust then the devs can't trust me and I can't be as useful to them as I can be.

Look in your quest journal and expand the quest, then click on the dropdown, it will explain a bit more about the location.

Well Darth,

I cancelled my shipwright account today. With the quests dropping deeds and not schemes, there is no reason to continue the charade any longer.

Have fun everyone

why dont you guys for once just put that starting info into a pdf HELP File for people to read offline, so they dont have to go through that badly formatted CTL-H thing or wade through this website. Be a lot easier to include a booklet, "to start here, goto this NPC" Or you can keep this frustrating form
