Like everything new in game, first day it will be 1,000,000 + and on the third day it will be on the Bazaar when everyone starts to grind on it ...

Hmm.. that would be rather silly. Mark III equipment uses about 750 units of ressources per component. And the ships only need 15k of ressources, though quality does not matter all that much, as it hardly makes any difference in the mass. I think inside guilds the prices will remain pretty reasonable, but of course for those people entirely without friends, prices may be steep.

I just had another look, a fully equipped regular TIE figher will need about 22k units in ressources. And due to level constraints people will not be able to fit that much more into a Y-Wing or a Dunelizard. So any price much beyond 250k for a fully equipped ship would be fraudulent.

bad news there some droid egnieers think you should pay 150k for a lv6 flight comp. so be intresting to see how ship prices fair.

For the first three tiers ofchassis (starter and tiers I & II) I'm trying very hard to keep the price at 3 cpu. I want to encourage as many people as possible to go up and fly, and the first three tiers of ship chassis are really nothing to make. Components aren't much of an issue at first anyway--the freebie starter ship will take a decent pilot through to tier 2 easily.

For a lvl6, you probably should be expecting something close to 6 figures. You're master pilot at that point.

Well in beta the droid and nav comp programs didn't actually do anything, and since the droids and computers are only there for the little programs, I don't expect those prices to last.

I didn't even need to buy a level 1 ship in Beta (Z-95 for rebs). It was totally easy to train to a Y-wing with the free starter ship given to you by your trainer. Keep this in mind when you're pricing your stuff... somepeople mayshy away if overpriced. The main difference to me between the freebee and the player crafted ship was Hyperspace (no hyperdrive in the freebee ships).
