Just incase everyone didn't know SW xp is useless for the jedi grind. Confirmed with a CSR, so it's 100% true. It's working as intended. So now we have to craft everything by hand with no benefit. JOY!!!

Your benefit is the money you make. Sorry but I side with the DEVs on this one. Keep JTL as far from FS and jedi as possible.

Starts with wanting an xp conversion rate. Then people will say "Hey we get xp conversion so we should be able to get the FS bonuses with SW and/or Pilot professions.". Then the Jedi will say "Hey they get FS bonuses so we should be able to get force powers."

Next thing you know JTL is just an extention of the ground game where Jedi ruin it just like they did on ground.

I am hoping they will patch it, because FS-Crafting is a benefit for any Master Crafter Profession. Just think of FS Experimentation, which boosts your chance for a amazing Success.

If you start a petition for it Tyrann_Blade count me in.

If we have to use skill points for shipwright we have the right to FS xp. Shipwright is a crafting profession that is completely ground based, no need to be in space, no space resources needed, so it doesn't really make sense that we have to give up skill points we could be using on another prof that would give fs xp instead of just giving SW conversion. Just a thought.

In that case dont be a shipwright. Go find another profession to get your FS xp from and leave shipwright to the dedicated.

And just think how long it will take jedi to jump on that and start requesting special stuff in space too.

Some people are saying ( that already have FS crafting) that they get more amazings with shipwright crafting. It's already there. Converting the xp, just means those of us who DIDN'T grind holos, and DON'T wish to do another craft, can compete with the holobots/jedi.

Where is it written that a convertable xp typemust get some benefit from whatever it allows you to train?

Some examples of convertable xp types that don't get any bonus to themselves from training in any Force Sensitive skills:

Dancing XP

Music XP

Ent Healing XP

ID XP

DNA Sampling XP

Creature Handling XP

Slicing XP

Politician XP

Merchant XP

... I dont see merchants or politicians begging for force sensitive bonuses to their realms, but they can convert.

I'm for Crafting Mastery bonuses to shipwrights (and my guess is they may already benefit from them), but I'd be happy with just straight conversion.

The entertainers do. In the one branch of healing boxes, it shows some sad tiny little bonus to music/dance wound healing or something...

oh... well my point still works, i guess.
I just dont see how slightly better components ruins JTL. Better take FS crafting bonuses away from DE's since they make flight computers and astromechs.
Can someone better explain the logic behind it?

As far as I can tell, there currently isn't any logical explanation for it.

There is indeed one regarding Pilot XP and the devs have stated that there will be no bonuses for Jedi in space.

There is just no reason to make SW's who are Force Sensitive to be incapable of exchanging SW Crafting for FS Crafting XP. There could easily be an enormous 35:1 or more conversion rate similar to that of Architects.
