Why not allow shipwright to factory make total items? Its bad enough to have a high volume of sales , and then to top it off with newly looted ships (to buy lots of parts for)and more slots for player ships, to have from 30 to 50 items sold by one buyer. Let alone now with Elite parts prior to update to have time to space mine? Customers always come tous saying "a Friendtold me about your shop fully loaded, to why I can't find a heavy z-95, or a large cargo hold" or "why don't you have any grievous ships/Jedi ship available to sell" The point being to sell 100-500+ items(crap loadmore if vendor search on)on a daily basis (for when in my server not many fully stocked 2000+ item shipwright vendor to support the whole galaxy of buyers without the ability to not schem up the final products. Only allowing just upgrade parts, paint kits, repair kits,missiles/countermeasures to be factoried. Like I said one sitting 30-50 per customer purchases, and have to hand grind everyone of to keep in stock! Heck then could be off doing other things, have fun, or space mine to stock newly items from ROTW, and new patch for elite parts. Some customers get nasty that we haven't had time for it, or that were a shipwright shop and should have them and a sin not too.. not knowing a hassle to have them get what they need for us to make it, or to hire someone to get it or buy space resources and charge bucko bucks for the parts that take space resources. You know how long it takes to mine that? Let alone should level pilot to fend off foes or decent level to fly a good space mining ship?We have no time to work on pilot let alone space mine. Or to find helping hands to whom to trust with a 1mil-5 mil shop.. really burns us(partner and I) out for ever since JTL being a shipwright to never ending grind parts out. No wonder loads of shipwright shops went belly up or only to sell out to make fast cash, or just get tired of the constant ever ending grind.

Let alone to have upgrade parts factoried in crates that you have to carry in inventory with variety of resources q's needed and with crafting stations hoppers not working to show crated upgrades to utilize in crafting tool hopper tabwhile crafting. Do a pick up crate and/or drop crate back in then it shows up with filter to add in the shipwright upgrade in schematic from crafting station hopper. Slowing down the process of crafting more on timers, and that as well. If say you don't want us to factory everything then as Masters of Shipwright then lower timers while crafting for the huge demand.

Also why the huge frustration of having to survey for hours for just say 40% efficiency or less most of

the time for huge chewers of resources like Ore, Steel?? In most case could chew up to a million of units in a day! Let alone only lasting 3 to 5 days of spawn to not even fill up the harvesters capacity? As if 30 harvesters isn't enough let alone needed other kind of resources that shipwright demands to keep in stock of merchant goods!?!?

True may not schem up ships but engine, capacitor, reactors such the like of fast moving parts should be. Let alone Vendor limits you to keep a fast moving shop to craft it back fast enough even with two MSW's

Let alone w/merchant on top of it, having to re-stock unsuccessfuls one by one, no matter how fast things fly(sell) off the shelf ,200-400 drops regardless a week or every couple days, and details bugs

Ummm, no factories please, happy the way it is.

And before you ask, yes i do a lot of business over 30 components a day, 4-10 mil a week.

been like this from the jtl beta till now

i personally like that their are not factory runs (besides subcomponets) and each item is hand made that is the one thing that sets Shipwright about from the other crafting professions

I see that other thread.. ..

but yah it can be a very burn out,.

50 sales a day? , I said about 30-50 per 1 customer (when was public vendor search and on map)one sitting clickity click, bing bing bing email... let alone come back in a couple missions buy some more, but for there guildee, and then when more ship slots happened, with new mission granted ships, bam flooded more. yah like some said 3 to 5 mil a day in sales , only 1/4 were chassis sales, most were components and missiles. Have a vendor filled with 2000-2200 items in stock around most 5 per of each with varieties of upgrades labeled accordingly with the upgrade name in it (hence for a mark V engine would be variants of 5 times that by mark I-V upgrade =25 total mark V engines except having engine limiters) some parts that sold out in day bumped it up to 10 per kind or variety(especially Mark III's which supports all the mission granted ships for mass size combinations then there 3 other master pilot ships filled there shopping carts with parts

anyways by means a day full of crafting didn't suffice even with two MSW's . Let alone to supply architect furniture, and some of arch deeds, let alone also vehicles , meds, tools, like grand central station. yah and changing prices even no change. Even standing right there buy out all the missiles? Hello? Can factory those , couldn't even ask for a crate most of the time, singles are there for those can just pop down needing a few to go back and mission, since the shop is like less then 1k or so from theed.

Heck my email is so thick you cant even begin to craft the list up with it, lots easier to go by the tabs seeing what is needed just for components. Lets just say 500k of steelwas chewed up in a day just on components alone excluding schem upgrades, with how it was, talk about burn out! Even with 30 harvesters out on resources wasn't still enough even have to buy resources, and keep it stock in close to bil's of units of all resources combined intwo storage houses now

Shipwrights lose alot of income from lack of factory support.

Much of the items we craft get critical up to good success. All those can't be sold.
1 critical can easily be 20-30k lost. How many criticals per week? I get atleast 5-10 per day.

IMO Shipwright should have full factory support. In addtion to reduced resource usage.
Only architects got higher. But they sell in much less quantities.

I placed a Bargin vendor for items that don't quite come out the way I want them to. I reduce the price to cover the cost of the materials used plus a very slim profit margin and put them on that vendor. People still buy them! Just because something you make doesn't turn out exactly as good as you'd like or want, someone out there will probably buy it cause they can't afford the top end item or just need something to get by with while they level up.

QFE.

Takes most of you 30 min to grind to master... now complaining because it takes actual work to be succesful.

Go make another profession, its sad trying to explain to people in nice words. Like I said before, there are plenty of other Shipwright that wish they have your problem. Quit and let them take over.

Well, for those of you who come here everyday, this subject is tired and I think many of us wish it would go away. However, for the shipwright who has spent the last several weeks or months not really coming to the boards, but crafting like a mad person, this issue is hot enough to motivate them to come to the boards and post. So, I encourage you all to try your best to be kind to them, because we will probably continue to see this type of thing as long as there are shipwrights.

You can do factory runs of subcomponents which is a fantastic help but to do factory runs of the main componets... hmm nah the truely amazing parts that can come out from a bit of luck just would no longer be amazing.

Besides life would become dull

I know I don't really want factory support. I like the fact that we have to do the final assembly by hand. Plus, it separates the wheat from the chaff as far as dedication to the prof is concerned. Things are fine the way they are; I would just like to have more schematics to work with an maybe some performance improvements to engines.
