I am a new shipwright just getting started and I was wondering if there was a guide that
prices items like ships, blasters, shields. I was just wondering around how much these
items should sell for. Can anyone help me out?

I think most shipwrights price stuff per unit of resource. I've seen anything from 2-10 credits per unit of resource when making a chassis, and 10 to 20 credits per unit of resource when making components. Where you are in that range depends on what quality of material you are using.

I usually price my ships at 2.5 CPU. If I hit an amazing success a few times with great resources I'll make a "special edition" craft and put it up at 3 or 4 CPU. If you're grinding though, sell what you can for what you can.

Your pricing is very much going to depend on your server's economy. I change my pricing based on the frequency of sales and the prices other shipwright's are charging. It might be worth your while to go around to other shipwright's vendors and check what kind of pricing they are using.

I price my stuff according to demand and resource quality.. some of you guys that sell your stuff for 2-3cpu unless you are making low quality stuff are nuts.. i spend alot of time and money finding the very best resources and my price.. and clientel reflect that.. if you want the best come to be..its gonna cost you but you also get the fastest, hardest hitting ships in the galaxy.. its a shame that SW fell into the same trap that architect did..

I think he's referring to components not the chassis.

I sell 1cpu.
I sell...i would like to sell. But bazar is a mess, and you find ship for 100 credit.
Ok it s low quality novice ship, but i dont understand SW breaking market to earn 100...think to SW newbies!!
I hope to start earning my SW life by REing, not before.
I have to loot in space and sell my stuff to chassis delaer to pay my harvest.

I sell ships at the following
Tier 0 - 5k
Tier 1 - 20k
Tier 2 - 60k
Tier 3 - 110k
Tier 4 - 160k
Master - 450k
I don't have much experience with actual components, but I sold 50 Mark IV Proton Missiles for 90k and was told that was cheap.
Tier 0 - 5k
Tier 1 - 20k
Tier 2 - 60k
Tier 3 - 110k

eh, mine's pretty simple: all chassis at 3cpu unless i use high quality resources, then i make up a random number higher than the 3cpu result, heh.
parts: n(1) = 5000, n(n+1) = 2n
(gotta love discrete systems
, well, not really, I hated them...)
(and for you non-math geeks out there, it's 5000,10000,20000,40000,80000 for lvls1,3,5,7,9, respectively -- this formula gives closer to 17cpu at lvl1, but closer to 10cpu at lvl9 - to justifty making lvl1 parts, as they take just as many annoying finger clicks when experimenting heh, it's also very easy to remember what to charge
)
That's basically it. I guess if I were to use my limited 'best' quality resources, I might charge a bit higher on some, but that doesn't happen often.
