I have been shipwright since the first day it was introduced into game and have Re'd a ton of parts lev thru lev 10. I have come to the conclusion reverse engineering is the suck :/ Lol nah but really after seeing posts of use kuat keep the re'd stuff in your inventory, ect. I think it is like a guildie put it totally blind luck it has to be. Im pretty sure ive probably done more then most SW's namely ones that havnt been at it since the begining and I have gotten a whopping 1 piece of the schem

I've been trying for a 2nd schematic for while now, first one only gave me 3 firesprays. Anyway today I finally got one after doing almost 100 sessions (so i think it was around 170-180 parts for those sessions). I had the luck of getting 2 discs almost in a row last month. So yah I agree its all luck & doesn't seem to matter when or where you do it, Hell i even tried REing in space w/ no better luck then on the ground.

It's just like everything else in this game, you kill 3 million mobs to get an average of 100 credits per mob for the 1 mob that drops a tatooine tapestry or some lame crap.

the second part i re'd i got a disc.

once i re'd 5 parts and got 3 discs, that is god's truth. and 20 parts after that i got a fourth one

This question if probably somewhere, but I'll ask anyways....does it matter what level the items are that you RE for a schematic?

Probably not.. no one is abaolutely sure, except the Dev who wrote the code behind it

But, reports are that any RE job have a chance at dropping a disc, and that also means lvl 1 RE'ing.

I respeced to SW when the first Respec became available after CU, and since then I have gotten 4 disc from RE'ing.. I have no idea excatly how many RE jobs I have done, but I suspect it to be in the 300's... meaning that my current ratio is around 1 disc / 75 RE.

Luckily I have found 4 different ones

2,4,6 and 8.

all accounts cancled. im leaving this game

I still get roughly 1 per 100 RE jobs. Ive gotten close to 30 disks so far and i only RE-jam a day or 2 a week usually(if that). All but "1" of my disks have come from level 1 and 2 loots, and only 2 have come from RE jobs involving Kuat parts. So im a firm believer that its completely and absolutely random.

i think i have re-eng about 500-600 components and got 2 schematic parts. ofcource, the 2 parts are the same (nr2)
