Oh please fix this soon. This is so annoying. Having to go almost 2k meters in some areas to be able to camp is highly frustrating. Or even worse is being less than 100 meters from any sort of player installation and being told it's a no build zone, then you move to 50 meters, still a no build zone, move to 10 meters and being told can't build this close to another structure. Sometimes I think it's a conspiracy against me.

Oh, I know it's in the works and all. It's just a tad frustrating at times.

And since this wish is being granted, I've got a few others, but I'm guessing they're beyond the abilities of anyone but a god.

Try playing on a no-build planet like Dathomir, you can't camp at all there...

That would be the pits. I imagine healing wounds is all kinds of fun there.

you cant camp on dath? that has to be a bug, that would eliminate one whole branch of a skill

Of course you can camp on dath. just not inside 1k from either of the outposts. There is also this strange cinnamon roll village way up north on a island that you can't camp near. Everywhere else is free game.

Well yeah, those wishes are non SWG related, so I'll just keep them to myself for now.

I thought I read in the last patch, like Sat or Sun, that you can now build camps within the No-Build zones, but still not within, the City "limit". Although, after trying this because I thought that was great( a little to late, it would have been nice when starting my scout) but it still doesnt work most of the time.

DeltaX, let them know, I experimented with this new patch. I was outside the "you have left %town%" message, but inside the No-Build zone. Even with terrain that should let me build, flat, level all that, it was still not letting me build about 75% of the time. This was on Bria, Corellia, outside of Tyrena.

I believe the changes to the no-build zones are coming in the BIG patch, not the little one that they released last week.

We're still waiting on the no-build zones. They aren't live yet.

No confirmed ETA, but I did post what the Scout dev told me in the "grinding camping XP" thread above.

You're right. If you're on Dath, it's hit or miss whether or not you're camp will go up.

As for granting wishes - I may not be a god, but I'd like to hear what you want.

Assuming its not women, money or something non-SWG related.

The changes appear to have been implemented in this mornings patch.
