I've tried several times to set up camp but keep getting you can't set up camp in a no build zone.

I asked the same question earlier.
You must be outside of town (you get a message) AND then 1000m more!
So basically between 1500 and 2000m from the next town centre.

Camping is incredibly boring. What I often do is get a destroy mission or 2. Do the missions then after each one camp once. I'm about 1/2 way through survival 4. One day I bought a book and spent the entire day reading in front of my computer and just made camps for 20 minutes a shot, all day long. Right now i'm camping and using my second system to post this reply. =)

Hi all,

Well I have a camping question. I am doing some macroing.I have it set up so I do:

/stand; /toolbarSlot13; /pause 3600 ect ect

and I have a second macro that is:

bla

/toolbarSlot03; /pause 500

or something very similar................. My question is..when I am done macroing I switch back to the panel 1. This is were I have all my attacks, mask scent ect ect. But the computer still thinks I am macroing so periodically the computer still tries to push a button for me. Is there a way to tell it to stop macroiing?

Next question is that when I do macro the camps never seam to get laid down in order of the toolbarSlot of which they are in. I mean that I will come back to the keyboard and i will see camp slot 13 used then 17 and then 19. I think what it is doing is pause 3600...you still have a camp established elsewere and then when pause 3600 comes around again it goes to the next toolbarslot. It is random...what am I doing wrong?

Last question is that I come back and almost always I am disconected. I have DSL so that should not be an issue. Am I not doing something right?

Thanks in advance..

First. be sure to type /afk
I was gone for three hours yesterday and with /afk on I got a good chuck of camping xp.
Second, it is easier to just use a macro like this..

/pause 60
/ui action toolbarSlot01
/ui action toolbarSlot02
/ui action toolbarSlot03

....and so on, using another macro to loop. This way, every minute you "do something" and, as soon as one camp goes down, within 60 seconds, another one is up.

OK ,...well I always have afk on. thanks

Why with my macro does the computer take like camp 1 then 4 then 10? Really wierd? I also have seen alot of macros listed. Could anyone please post a complete macro that has successfully fired off like 6+ camps ( I am not macro friendly )? I am still getting booted off SWG with a say macro and afk on. Maybe a comuter setting? I'll turn them all off. Any suggestions would be helpful.

either logout or move your macros to another position so they dont fire themselves again. Then you can safely move to another pane. Generally, its a good idea not to have lengthy pauses if you can help it.

/ui action toolbarSlot00; /pause 3100
/ui action toolbarSlot01; /pause 3100
/ui action toolbarSlot02; /pause 3100
}
/ui action toolbarSlot11; /pause 3100

That is the macro I have running for camping. I fill slots 1-11 with camps. The 12th slot is this macro. If you interrupt this, then, yes, the macro will continue to run and every 50 minutes and snag whatever macro you have in the slot if you switch to another toolbar.

The pause for 3100 is about 51 minutes, which is about a little longer it takes for a camp to self-disband. I timed myself the other day and it disbanded after 49 minutes. But I like to leave a gap just in case.

Okay, if I'm by myself in a camp how long to I have to keep the camp up before I can diband it and get the Max exp possible? Is the time different for the different camps?

It really depends on a lot of things. Are you healing yourself in tha camp???

Typically if you are not hurt you need to spend 15-20 minutes to max out in XP. If you are healing then it's slightly less, like 14-17 minutes.

I don't heal myself in the camp, is the 15-20 minutes the same for every size of camp?

No, the type of camp varies the XP. A basic level 1 camp gets X amount of XP for a certain time, a multiperson camp gets more XP in less time and the ranger camps get even more XP for the least amount of time.
