In my template on TC i have 50k xp banked as a 3040 scout meaning i have enough to get master scout.
Still an issue in a way, the devs, in all of their brilliance, changed the cap to 75k exp at Master Scout, thus making Novice Ranger impossible.
After spending a night on Endor harvesting lousy leathery hide like mad, because every variety of Endorian meat on Ahazi both sucks AND blows, something that according to Bart Simpson shouldn't be possible, I have apparently hit the new cap on scouting XP (I'm 4/0/4/0): 300k XP.
So novice ranger and CH should NOT be a problem from that standpoint. Looks like they got this one fixed, albeit AFTER they went live with the new XP requirements and had to go back and reset the caps.
Inattention to detail like this drives me mad. It's part of my military training that won't go away.

FWiW, the interview is the biggest pile of horse hockey I've seen in a while. Laughable thing is, the comments were made as if 'journalists' exist in a vacuum outside the game and never have contact with players... or play it themselves.
