That disbands and resets like after 15min?

Though it is possible to set up a macro that starts a camp using hotkeys, there is no command to disband one.

May I direct your attention to the floating thread at the top of the forum:

PSA - There are NO keyboard commands to disband a camp, nor are there direct ones to use one

Approach students that you may learn the power of the macro.

Let us now meditate on this....

Find a weak lair just outside of town and disarm your weapon. Whenever you want to disband your camp, attack the lair from where your standing. As long as you don't actually hit it, they won't aggro you. After around 30 seconds, the camp will be automatically disbanded for being in combat even though you haven't actually hit anything. You can /peace and then set up anothercamp after the first clears away.

Actually, the only problem with AFK is that it's against the EULA and is a good way to get yourself in trouble.

Absolutely correct

Usuallyit takes about 10 secs for the camp to despawn after initiating combat. Also if you cant find anything to attack, you can find a large plain and tumble out of the camp, as you leave the camp it will despawn.

The only problem with afk camping is that lairs can spawn close to you and prevent you from placing a camp.

Why is it against the EULA (Thats the End User Liscence Agreement or something like that right?)

The EULA bans any kind of programs - macros or otherwise - that allows for AFK levelling.

So if you're going to use any of those macros, make sure that you are sitting there. Never know when a CSR might wander by.

who needs a macro? go rent a movie, pop it in, and every 15 minutes disband and reapply your camp. (works best if you have a TV in the same room as your computer)

if its a 2 hour movie you can get 8 camps in for full xp before its over. what is also good is getting a bunch of friends to afk stand in a spot for you. With a group of 5 or 6 or so with pets i was popping out max xp on my multi-camps in 3 mins! and you can use your social engineering in a group to get em to wait for someone or something, and then you end up waiting in a camp you reapply every 3 mins for about 15 mins or so and thats around 3.5k survival xp. Get some guildies to sample some stuff in your camp while you heal them and then its double xp! medic+survival.

Then why do we have Marcos? I've only used them to loot/harvest. (Keep them in its too much of a hassle with the radial menus)

You've got macros so you can set up things that you do often into a macro. That's why.

I thought the EULA only stated that external macro programs like the ones used by some UO players were banned from AFK leveling and that we could do what ever we wished with the in game stuff? After all the macro language is soooooooooooooooooooooo easy that as long as you have fingers to type with you can do some kewl stuff.

I go with the watching a movie method myself though. That's how I got all the levels of Survey andWS all at the same time. I found a sweet spot for the mineral I needed and then just sampled and sampled while in camp. Though a word of advice...make sure you have more than one movie available as I watched Spider-man 5 times and am now sick of it! LMAO!!!
