And I'm so happy! I finally broke down last night and grinded through the last 4k wilderness survival xp, but other than that I got to master scout just by playing and having fun. I think I'm going to go for ranger now, since its kind of a continuation of scout and I like the scout playstyle.

Now I just have to decide if I'm going to go for creature handler or ranger first...

Gratz! I myself went the way of the Creature Handler. It's very slow going for me, and somewhat boring, but having pets is very cool. Watch for future nerfs here though. It won't be the same class in a year (but what will).

Ranger feels very unpolished to me. I believe that it will eventually get the love and care it needs from the devs, at which point I may switch.

That's my take on things at any rate.

Congrats! I'm hoping to make Master Scout in the not-too-distant future myself. I've definately got the camp xp grind ahead of me too.

I just need the Apprentiship XP, and I'm a Master Scout. I broke down and ground out the Survival IV box too. Spent two nights just camping, crafting, and sampling. Congratz to you. Anyone need training? heh.

When my full grown pet Ronto fights some of the dinosaurs on Talus, it's like watching a Godzilla movie. No WAY I'm giving that up. All the Roaring and screen shaking *shivers with excitement*

i did the same thing i hate grinding it's more fun to just enjoy taking my time and doing fun stuff.

Congratulations! I literally jumped and danced for joy when I "graduated" to master level. What a long road!And how different my character is now than he was when he wandered out of the dark cloning center, stood there squinting in the bright sun and thinking "OK, what the heck am I supposed to do now?" The road ahead is even longer ... but I got to master scout by having fun and letting the xp come to me. I'm not about to change my style now.

Congrats! I'm in game at the moment, just got the apprenticeship points necessary, now just need a trainer for Master Scout! Can this be taught by a player, or need I seek out an NPC trainer? Heh if anyone wants to teach me and see me jump over myself, i'm on Flurry Server, inside Anchorhead Tavern. Help a fellow scout obtain Master Status, please!

Now.... let's see how mind-bending the road to Ranger can be....

Im surprised so many people are so excited over reaching Master Scout. Got mine a while ago, wasnt very tricky, its a starting profession. And as stated hehe 4k survival experience is meager, working on the last 80k in Ranger myself. Im glad the little scouts are happy though, gotta find the fun where you can get it.
