Ftong,

You mean besides throwing yourself in the water?

Seriously though, you need for /forage for it. It'll come up as some kind of "bait". That's what you use until you catch your first fish and can make your own.

this relates to a question I had, and that is: do any scout skills (and if so which?) improve your fishing ability? does hunting improve the amount of fish meat you get off a fish? does survival effect your chances of getting a catch?

If you are looking to sell your fish, doconstant searches for BE's in the area and ask any that are online if they are in the market for fish. Some are holo grinders so they won't be, but there are master BE's (like me) that won't switch profession for anything. Also, have a fair number of units to sell. 60 doesn't do me any good, but 500 would. Bazaars are ok for some things, but as a very busy master BE (and a hubby who's a master chef), I buy NOTHING off of the bazaar. I'm on Eclipse with a shop outside Coronet and trying to even open the bazaar there takes awhile, let alone opening the subcategories. Having a supplier for fish (and milk!) would simplify my life a bit.

If you are on Eclipse, send a mail to Bema once Thursday comes and the new schematics are in place. I will be going on vacation for a week right after the patch goes live so don't feel neglected if it takes awhile for me to get back to you. But I will be giving milk and fish contracts when I get back.

BTW, AWESOME guide Volsted. I fish rarely (just no time to do much of it)but Ilove just standing there relaxing and watching the scenery.

If you're looking for good fishing spots, try Dantooine. Go to the Imperial Outpost and that whole stretch of river is great fishing and low vegetation. I only stopped fishing as I ran out of inventory room LOL.

Where are the fishing holes on Tatooine?

Thanks for the guide but i have a problem. When I cast my line I don't get a fishing menu. I have left it there for 30 minutes (nearby studying) and nothing.. Do I need to be a ranger to fish??
(an no i wasn't in the other mouse mode that hides menus)
Thanks!

There is a POI that is a Hidden Imperial Fortress or something.. I think there is a lake there. And also, I found a small house and lake just north of the Krayt Graveyard I think.

While we've learned how to catch fish from this wonderful guide, I'm also curious on how we catch junk.

I've caught hundreds of fish, even with a 7% quality pole, and have never EVER caught a single piece of junk .

No clue.. I've got a 99% fishing pole and never caught junk.

Btw, the Imperial Pond on Tattooine is about 2km NW of Mos Entha. Zoom in and look for a blue spot, or check out maps on swg.warcry.com

Just look at the FAQ thread. Since I posted the original post, my signature is at the bottom.
