I dont know if this has to do with the trapping xp problem.. but I was hunting in a group on Dant.. and I was hunting bols. Traps never worked on them.. it would always fail.. no matter what. Then I go to Theed and throw one on a spineflap.. and it affects it. I dont have any trapping yet.. but is it because my combat level is 68 and bolsare 78-82?

Outline the bug for me? Mobs that drop trophies are not harvestable? I must be behind on my Ranger forum.

Haven't bothered to chase down the bane back yet, but this is true for the murra blanca and the painted spat. Only thing you can get off them is the trophy, No option to harvest resources. Which in the case of the painted if avian meat is good is a darn shame because it would drop a lot.

Technically this is only half a bug.

They changed the xp requirement for tha camping line from wilderness xp to scout xp in the CU. However it looks like the wilderness xp gain mechanism is still in the game.

yes im trying to master ranger and imm scout 4-0-4-4 and cant get no traping xp and my camps disban too.

Hi all,

While every character I have ever had has had at least Exp. IV, i've oddly, never posted here heh.

Anyway, I am experiencing a bug recently with various mobs. I can't harvest them. Period. It seems totally random and the only planet I have expierienced this on is Tatooine.

Some of the mobs I have encountered this problem:

Dewbacks- all variations.

Eopie

Scyk

Bantha

This has been happening to me while doing mission spawns primarily, though I have also had it happen on wild spawns. Also, it seems that if one mob from the lair has the problem they all have the problem....can't harvest.

Again, it seems totally random per lair/wild spawn. Some have the problem, some don't...

either way it is making levelling scout skills and aquiring creature resources a real pain in the arse

Hopefully someone will read this and forward to the development team.

I don't think the bug "The trap only works on creatures!" is from being in a no-build zone. I was getting that randomly last night way out of town on Dant. And I could usually trap a beast if I tried a trap 3 or 4 times or trap another one and tab back to the same mob so it would work.

You will never actually get a response fro a bug report. What happens is that the info gets logged into a big database and assigned to people to verify and then assigned to a dev to fix. At least that is my understanding of it. That is why it is important to bug - in the hopes that more bug reports mean greater visibility.

I'm randomly not getting the option to harvest my kills from the radial menu.... and it seems tobe happening with the tough ones that give the most XP. I have tried it from every angle, distance, hopping on one foot, etc. I've given up on sending bug reports ingame as I've NEVER gotten any response, ever.

I'm curious as to the effect of harvesting after being in-capped, then coming back to finish them off.... that may be a factor.
