Your reply was no more bitter than the one that you contended with. I think you came off with decency, so don't concern yourself. I'm convinced, but I won't go out and get a probot just to do this (I"m not a master scout either, so it's a moot point). I'll go get a probot because they seem to be really helpful for everyone, and Scouts need someone at their back when they're alone.

Sorry for the tangent, if clearing the hopper doesn't work, try typing " /stopcraftingsession "

so you tank damage while your probot shoots from a distance?

sorry, but i think that is the point of maskscent, so that aggressive mobs do not detect you. it is not a bug, but the intended use for maskscent.
