Thread: KNOWN SCOUT BUGS/ISSUES PLEASE CHECK HERE BEFORE POSTING A BUG
This is a repost from a thread I started below, and Delta asked that I add it up here as well.
For the most part, Creature AI is realy wonky and overly favors the Marksman (with or without scouting skills) over those that start a fight with Traps.
I would guess that other have noticed this, but there is a realy annoying AI issue with creatures.
I can take a Novice Marksman with no scouting abilities and shoot a creature 3 or 4 times, while they run in circles, before they start coming towards them. However, If a Master Ranger with maskscent throw a trap, that creature make a bee-line right towards the thrower.
Or even better, I can throw a trap, the one creature is "confused" for a bit, but all the other creature start chraging right at me.
Then there are issues with melee, but that is independent of scouting abilities.

Issue : Camp Repelling creature not working (with survival IV)
The camp are supposed to repel any agressive creature away from the camp but it appears bugged, everytime an aggressivecreature wander near my camp it attack me
Issue : entertainer in a camp
When a dancer is in my camp and dance and i watch him/her... i dont regain any battle fatigue wound, so either it s because it s my camp (but not very logic) or it s a bug, i dont know if it works for another people in the camp watching the dancer. (and did not tryed with a musician)
Issue: No Battle Fatigue regen in camp
I had the same issue as Cirth. My mind based wounds were healed but no fatigue. Is this intended or a bug?
Issue: Trapping XP
Since last Saturday I've been stuck at 30,000 trapping XP. I've probably earned 5 - 7,000 XP since then but I still only show 30,000. Is there supposed to be a cap on how much XP you can have or is this a bug.

If you've not trained your boxes, your skill level is capped at twice whatever the amount you last trained was for. For example - if trapping 3 takes 20,000 XP, you wouldn't only be able to have 40,000 XP before you were required to train trapping 3 to get any more XP.
That's how it's supposed to work.

Maskscent wasn't nerfed - it was fixed. It should be working properly now. It may not be as effective as before, but it wasn't supposed to be. And we should be getting XP correctly again.

Battle Fatigue in camps: Battle Fatigue CANNOT be healed in any camp, although mind wounds can. This is intentional, not a bug;otherwisecantina business would drop. It has been suggested to developers to allow this, even if it required a high-level camp or Master Entertainer.
My traps seem to hit much less now.
I have noticed that when crafting them their "experimental quality" is ALWAYS zero. Looks like they may have broken something here.
