Issue: Switching out of SWG, while in a camp, to look at the boards. When I returned to the game, I had completly lost directional control of my character. i.e. arrow keys did not work, except for the back arrow. And holding that down only brought me to a complete stop. It does not happen if I am not in a camp.

Temp Solution: Hold down the back arrow, use /sit /logout. Log back in.

This has happened to me several times, and I'm not sure if it is my computer or a bug. If it has happened to anybody else, and you have an in game solution, I would love to know what it is.

I have noticed that tonight if I harvest at exactly 15m, I get no resources, no exp, no message, and can no longer harvest the creature.

Have these critters learned to teleport?

I am busy working a gulf drolg lair. My tactic is to close with 40 m of the closest critter. Go prone, mask scent, throw a mesh trap and open fire with a head shot.

This tactic has worked great in the past. If I get a root, I can usually get 3-4 mind shots off before the rest of the herd mobs me. Today however, things are differnt. As soon as I Throw the trap, one of the more distant is instantly dropped on my head.

At first, I thought I had just missed a critter when ranging the area. But that is not the case. I've been through 4 subsequent engagements. Each time the STUPID AI grabbed a critter and dropped it right on my HEAD (no fooling - I'm suddenly looking at the world through the insides of a Guf Drolg - interesting view). It isn't a new critter and the number of critters be fore and after the engagement are the same.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this phenomena? This sounds like a variation of the warp bug except it is a critter that is relocated not the shooter.

Haven't figured out a work around yet. If I do I'll post it here.

Jim,

I get NPCs warping on my butt all the **edit** time. Most often its around structures with walls, but many times I've gotten smacked by the random warping Snorbal.

It's typically a lag bug.

Jim, watch out before hand. often, if a mob is gonna warp, they're already "floating" in the air. This happens the most on steep hills as new monsters seem to spawn at the same elevation as the nest...aka...in the air. these mobs ALWAYS are warp-ers and should be dealt with cautiously.

If you're a CH, you're pets can't keep up with their sporadic warping everywhere. plus, if you shoot them, they often warp directly on top of you

One question... Is the prone bug specific to scouts?

I have dive shot and tumble to prone becuse I am also a pistoleer. I used to be able to use these fine, but just recently I rubberband out of range... (is exploitable to get out of sticky situations )

Does this happen to everyone or just scouts?

I can't imagine why using a camp that you can't make is a problem. Seems like a good thing to sell to people if they want them. Same with traps.

Ceph,

You want to see noobs running around popping High Tech Field Bases up everywhere?

I certainly don't. It took me two months to get to make that camp. It's a badge of rank.

What about titles? how many badges of rank do we need? I think its appropriate that you need less survival xp to use than to make. People making camps for others is part of what multiplayer is about. You do need at least some scouting ability right? I think those 15 points spent should qualify someone to use a decent camp.

Cephalo,

I disagree.

Allowinglow level Scouts to use every camp (or any camp beyond what they have the ability to make) not only cheapens the value of being able to make that camp, it also removes any incentive to work your way through the Survival tree - other than to get Master.

Since 90% of the players in the game have novice scouting, you would remove one of the primary incentives to go to Ranger (the best camps).

You need certifications to use different types of weapons - that's so a novice can't be using a weapon that is so powerful that it unbalances them. The same thing is true of Scouts. Low level scouts should only be able to deploy a camp they can make, as to do otherwise unbalances them.

Master Scout, Novice Ranger (Advanced Trapping 2)

Traps: When using traps, often the last trap of the batch doesn't work. You get no failure message when it lands, and it never takes effect on the animal. Happens to me about 80% of the time.

Traps: When throwing traps at animals near water (go figure), I will sometimes throw two or even three traps in succession, even though I only issued one throw order.

Workaround: After throwing first trap, immediately click Peace. If the trap takes effect, the animal will re-initiate combat for you.

Issue: ranger's sonic pulse trap

When I use that trap, i never have Xp or a result on any creatures.

It seems totaly useless; which is sad for the "strongest" ranger's trap...

Is it normal delta?

Ebola,

Both of the Ranger traps are bugged. I really never bother with them.
