That's an entertaining notion, but wouldn't it mean there was a finite amount of experience available. Maybe not, but isn't the beauty of the SWG system that you can start, stop, quit, and start again any number of skillsets. So, you could theoretically run out of exploration points that you would ever get. Maybe they could fix that as well, I dunno' if I'd try such a hairy process in motion, though.

Or even if they didn't stay EXACTLY in the same place, but the creatures at least frequented certain terrains, you know? For example, if I could scout out an area and find the types of creatures that spawn in that area, perhaps that would be useful information for someone else in town who'd want to hire me (or group with me) in order to have me guide them to that particular animal type, if that's what they want to hunt (or if I want to hunt it myself for that matter).
