It's NOT just on Gorath and Test and Eclipse --


My Novice Ranger on Bloodfin has had no success fishing on Tattoine, Naboo, or Corellia.


Same scenario as described before: Says line is cast but nothing happens and my 'toon is just standing knee-deep in water, scratching her head and admiring the scenery.


Most annoying because fishing is a past-time I enjoy to break up my weeks. I've bugged it twice now, but to no avail.


Help Us Obiwan Brisc Rubal - you're our only hope!

Yea its broke. No message window, no splash graphic. I came to post the exact same thing. Its not just a "couple" people I've seen others post this on Allakazam. I think its several but not all but it sux. It happened after I accidently destroyed my fishing pole (was straining to get it to drag) I craft new one one thats twice the quaility. It fails to work and they become jammed like a crafting tool. Even when you've unequiped it the thing still considers itself to be fishing. It says that when you try to remove the bait. So now every fishing pole I craft thats much better than the one that worked is broken,. I hope fishing is somewhat popular enough to be fixed. Now I'm back to being financiallybroke while my competitors are reaping the rewards.

Oh yea. I'm on valcyn. And I stress that it happened right after I crafted a new pole. The new poles never worked but the old pos one always did. idk maybe coincidence.

Just tried fishing on Ahazi for the first time.... not working there either..


I was hopeing to catch some seafood for the upcoming chef update but i guess not.....

I'm also on Ahazi, fishing seems bugged here too.

Wow, looks like the problem is spreading to some additional servers, unfortunately. I just checked with my Kettemoor and FarStar characters. Failure on Kettemoor (Tatooine), and success on FarStar (Corellia). In a previous test, on Jan. 10, I had reported a success on both those servers. These were the same exact characters (and fishing poles) that were used previously. So, I guess, add Kettemoor to the list too. /sigh

Guys,


TH responded to my email and is making sure that the Devs are aware that something is busted and it needs attention. I'll give you more updates as I get them.


And yes - it is possible for them to have not noticed. So don't say that.

probably bad timing with the upcoming release, but i saw no mention of starsider in this thread, It is also broken.

Kettemoor Naboo fishing is broken to a Master Scout who has fished before. Starsider Dantooine fishing is broken to a 4/3/3/4 novice scout who had never fished before.
