Hold on there Cabol.
Best go read what passes for a BH forum. Daily, hourly, some BH is whining and sniveling about being a scout, how it sucked, it took too long, waaaaa. Where is the macro?
Trust me, no one gets away with whinning about leveling SCOUT in the BH forum. That happens here in the scout forum, but, not in the BH forum. Especially when most of the people there spent 50-60 hours doing bugged Investigation missions (or 200-300 hours for those that are old school MBHs).
You do not see questions in this or the Ranger forum whining about weapons and damage per second and which armor block more damage and blah blah blah, trivial useless crap. More than one BH, all tricked out and buffed, got DB'd by a nasty old Ranger sans armor who knew tactics and wasn't afraind of taking a chance. BHs are doomed, mainly because of their lack of knowledge and refusal to see past the trivial.
Ummm... you don't see any questions about weapons and armor in the Ranger forum because... its the RANGER forum. They aren't really classified as a combat class like BH is. For combat talk rangers usually go to their combat class forum for that.
To say in general Rangers know more about tactics than BHs is bogus and unwarrented. Ranger for the most part attracts a more mature and older crowd. BH hastwo classesof community memebers, the revolving door of idiots who either want to grief Jedi or enter SWG thinking their are going to be uber-Fett clones; and people who like BH for what it is and know their tactics and know thier weapons and how to play the game.
The revolving door of idiots I see gets to maybe 3444 BH (at the farthest) then quits because they discover they can't just mash specials all day long to win. They are not real BHs, I see them post maybe 5-10 times on the forum and then they leave the profession or the game.
Now there is a core of BHs that knows this game and knows how to play their BHs very effectively. I can pretty much guarentee you if you came at my BH (pre-weapon switch delay ), unarmored as a Master Ranger/Master Whatever my MBH would have eaten you alive.
My MBH has never had any problems in PvP or PvE. At all. I don't win all the time, but, when I lose I don't whine. But, I've never felt gimped. I even play a TKM on another server and I still like (well liked) my MBH better (before the weapon switch delay).
JB, why are you so belligerent towards BHs? I feel like I've been a pretty positive influnce on this forum for almost a year now and I feel I'm pretty representive of most of the BHs I know from the forums and in-game. Sure there's a few bad BHs out there. There's a few bad Jedi out there. There's a few bad TKMs. There's a few bad Riflemen. BH is a combat profession. Combat professions do tend to attract a lot of teenage (or teenage-like) players with a lot of angst and little brain power. It may seem like BH has more, but, we are a popular profession because of how the profession is portrayed in the movies.
Maybe you notice it more than I do because I have an ability to filter all the crap out.

don't take it personal Rozhlok.....it's becuase of that evil Bounty hunter (who shall remain unnamed)that tied JB up in a kreetle pen where his mask scent broke for hours on end........
the rumor i heard is that when JB finally made it free......there wasn't enough of the BH to put into a thimble..*shakes head and looks solumn*
