Actually I have applied for the position myself. I've been a scout since day 1 and would like to be the correspondent.
Brisc is the Bloodfin PvP requirement still there?
If it isn't, I better make one. ![]()

Well Brisc, I really don't know what to say. I'd offer to bribe you to stay, but I never made enough monkey to pay off someone like you (sorry for the cheap shot, I had to). Anyway, this really is a ending of a great era, and I know that while I mostly just poke fun at you from time to time, you leaving as a correspondant will have a deep and lasting effect on these boards. I know that there are a lot of great people out there, waiting to be correspondants themselves, and there are many people who would have my support (I myself am not applying for this post), so I believe the stick will be passed to someone I think is capable and knowledgable-- but it doesn't mean that your presence won't be missed. I know I mourned the passing of three Ranger correspondants and though each time, the position was filled with a smart, hard-working new correspondant, the pain was still there. Of course, that is for Calc. He, unfortunately, still is around
.
Anyway, I hope, like Calculus, you stick around become nothing you can do will ever take away from you being a great knowledge-holder and a wonderful personality on the fourms. And I really mean that, no monkey business.

End of an era is an understatement.
Delta/Brisc: I salute you sir, not only for your longevity, but for your patience with both Scouts and Rangers alike. I hope all of your Scout folk realize how much you've done for Ranger's as well starting from when Mineras left.
You will be missed as a Correspondent. I am glad you'll be sticking around the forums though. Best of luck to you in all that you do bud.

P.S. Who is the other Correspondent left from the start?

Brisc,
I meant to post this earlier but I have been a bit busy with work. (It's first paper preparation time for my students.)
I can't tell you how beneficial and informative your guides were way back when I ground out Scout. I think it's one of the best profession guides I have seen. You have made a stellar contribution to the profession, and you will be sorely missed as Scout Correspondent.

PS- Whoever takes this job over, better get a monkey making skill added to the profession, or you're never going to hear the end of it from me.
Wouldn't a monkey making skill go to BEs?

Is that an in-joke or a typo for money making skills? If it's the latter CMs could use it too

Old, old, old joke. ![]()
Typo from my first "official" Corr post.
And GreenMarine responded to it exactly the same way.

Feed back on the scout correspondent issues (at the very bottom of the post). I think that was the first time I actually laughed out loud while reading the forums.
I about lost it at the first reply.
