Thread: Call for 10 Questions
1) Can we have more functionality to camps, maybe adding more functions as camp level increases?
2) Can we get the ability to mask scent while riding a mount, maybe as a higher level bonus?
3) Can we get a special master scout camp?
4) Can we have the ability to experiment on our camps and traps, maybe with abilities to customise camps, colour the tents, etc...
5) Can we keep scout as a pre-requasite for bounty hunter, rather than giving in to those who wish to turn BH into commando mark 2 with brawler skills, I for one wish to remain a scout and BH. Sorry, been biting my lip on this one for too long, had to say something. ![]()
6) Can we recieve a bonus when useing creature mounts?
7) Can we have a message when maskscent works but you already have full exploration exp? "You have evaded detection by a *insert creature here*".
8) Can we swim better as scouts?
9) Can we have some sort of cool scout wearable? No woggle jokes. ![]()
10) Will we be able to run dairy farms with the new milking skill? ![]()
I became master scout first, then took up bounty hunter as it appeard to be a logical progression, me having marksman and scout at the time.
Even though I am a BH, and fully intend to become a master BH, I still love playing as a scout.
I hunt animals for hides that I sell on the bazaar, I make camps for fun, and I would be lost without terane negotiation and mask scent.
I suspect that if BH became a marksman / brawler mix then quite soon people would learn to regret the change the next time their mark is up a hill, in the middle ofthe wilderness,with a load of red animals ready to munch on a pre-occupied BH.
And anyhow, the LLC makes a great hunting weapon. ![]()
2. Can we use our terrain negotiation for mounts?
Now you see spiritunicorn, nice reasoned point of view there and I was with you all the way.

Just one question
- Any plans to make using Forage desirable again?
As it is now it uses too much space (being non-stackables) the buff value is a joke compared with spice and chief food< more so after their revamp.
I've been a master twice but currently am about to conquer it yet again for doc stuff so, here's my list
Scouts need better camps, we wantcrafters like rangers too, just maybe different one?
How about an invisibility skill for a few seconds just to get away from animals?
Wasn't there snow in this movie, umm, yeah I think it was the Empire.... Sarcasm noticed i'm sure, please make it so!

Anyway. If I were to list 10 questions they would be as follows:
1. What is currently in the future for Foraging? i.e. what do the DEVs have planned for it?
2. What is currently in the future for fishing? is the trap / fishing hybrid idea in the works?
3. How are camps, especially lower level ones, going to remain appealing with all the changes coming down the road?
4. What is the developer ideal for the Survival / Fronteiring (I know its ranger) line? Currently it's really just a speed bump towards master and the future changes promise to make it that much more tedious.
5. What is the ETA on the new traps that have been mentioned for some time now? Similarly when will the CRIPPLING trap bug, which prevents the final charge on most traps from being effective, be addressed? (this is one when is x going to be fixed that I think has been around WAY too long.)
6. Would it be possible to make the Trapping Skill MOD more effective when throwing lower level traps? With future plans for various levels of weapons it would seem logical to allow a Master Scout (who boasts a trapping mod of +50) a much better result from any trap thrown.
7. Would it be possible to add a survey or sample option at Master Scout which would allow scouts and rangers the chance to decide what resources they'd like to harvest without wasting time making multiple samples from multiple corpses?
8. Are there any plans to introduce any droids that might be more scout friendly? Maybe a medical type droid that aids in harvesting?
9. Are the "trophy" suggestions that have been brought up viable? They would supply a great new source of income for scouts. Think of it as taxadermy under the hunting skill set.
10. When are DeltaXi65 and NRaas getting raises? They really deserve them for the job they're doing.
