Very, since I'm about 99% positive that there isn't a disband camp command in the game - it was removed on purpose.

Let us know what you find.

Um actually its easy, u need 2 people tho, so either use an alt or a good friend. U just duel someone, it takes about a minute after u have attacked the other person so just use a weapon u are not trained in, end the duel, wait a minute for camp to disapear, make a new one, pause for 16 minutes, duel over , ya u get the idea.

And yes if one of you can heal the other can tumble, its only a few simple lines to add to your macro. it will speed things up by about 33%

Zane,

That's not the point - we know about the duel macros, etc. What T was talking about was a "keyboard command". I'm very interested to hear if he's found one.

As the title of the PSA says - there are NO "keyboard commands" to disband a camp. That's the question we were getting a lot. We've come up with a lot of different ways to disband them while being AFK (but I still for the life of me why anyone would want to AFK macro camping. It's just not worth the trouble).

Would it be possible to use the "tumble to kneeling" command to move you far enough outside the camp for it to disband earlier? This would eliminate the need to set up near a suitable lair.... I haven't had a chance to test it, but my camps all seemed to disband within a minute or two of leaving.

NT,

It's possible, but the main reason we have this here is to try and discourage AFK macroers. Because the amount of time it takes to come up with the macros and other nonsense could be spent grinding the traps and camps needed to get you through survival the quickest.

The tumble to kneeling trick does work to get you out of the camp and make it disband itself. Unfortunately, you risk tumbling into a harvester or tree and ending up at standstill.Worse yet, you risk tumbling into a pack of aggros and getting killed afk.. kind oflike I did tonight. Don't feel bad for me though. I successful afk-macroed a whopping 3 camps before I got killed by a carnivorous nuna.

That's why you don't do it!

Trust me, it's much faster to just sit and grind for an hour than to go to bed, wake up and find you've gotten no XP.

AFK camping macros are only good when your hosting an ingame wedding reception in an high tech field base.

Camp grinding sucks so I was trying to figure out a easy way to macro grind even though its not the right way,I need squad leader so have to go this route... anyways I figured out a good way to afk macro... We dont have a disband command for camps anymore but like the other guy said if your in combat it will automatically disband....Remember you dont have too actually fight just initiate a battle...the mob wont come to you usually since he will be too far away if he does im sure youll pick a nice spot with low level creatures...doesnt matter just start to fight and it will disband the camp ..

this macro will search all your toolbars for camps thenafter 20 minutes will initiate any mob within your view ,pick a spot with low level creatures just in case it runs to you.....if your ranged attack I would un equip and just use your hands or knife that way you wont increase your chance of the mob comming to you...the macro after 10 seconds of fighting will offer peace to the enemy then it will wait 2 and half minutes for the camp to truly disband because it lingers for about 2 minutes but I made it 2 1/2 just in case...then the macro starts all over and will search for a new camp... so far its been working all day for me, just make sure you get a mob ,creature that is on the outskirts of your view at 128 meters on your radar most of the time the MOB/creature wont come to you to fight but it will still disband the camp...

this is what I used and hope others will find it helpfull.

By the way whatever you name your macro use that instead of putting the macro on toolbar 00... Just name the macro camp and like the last line says /macro camp that way you can have 1 more camp in your toolbar...

Macro is not perfect but I made 3 boxes up the tree in one day
