Thread: PSA There are NO keyboard commands to disband a camp, nor are there direct ones to use one

Scouts,


This question comes up about 3 times a week.


There are no direct keyboard commands to use a camp. You can use the /ui toolbar route if you have a camp in your toolbar to have it open, but there is no direct /command to use a camp.


There is also no direct keyboard command.There are workarounds to disband them, but they all require some elaborate set up, either with a pet or two accounts. While you can let a camp autodisband- which takes placeafter 55 minutes - there is no other easy, mess free way to disband a camp. You must use the terminal in the camp to do so.

(EDIT: In the 7 months since this was lasted edited, some enterprising macro writers have come up with some ways to disband a camp using combat via a macro. Edited the post to make it clearer.)

if you set up a camp next to a lair, but not too close, selecting a mob and attacking without having a ranged weapon equipped will abondaon the camp, and soon it iwll disapear

Solo, a camp yields it's full potential XP in 24 minutes. Disband to get the XP


A camp will auto-disband at 51 minutes. You'll get the appropriate XP.


As mentioned, it will auto-disband if you enter Combat mode. You'll get the appropriate XP.

Buy a pet. Some decent BE pet cause you want it to last.

toolbar slot 2-23 place 23 tents in these slots.

Disclaimer this is spamming but in the long run for me because i macro while afk doesnt matter.

Ok boys and girls, and those who arent Macro literate heres what were trying to do...
Fisrt and foremost put down a tent before you even start for a total of 24 tents. Push F1 the game will try to use the camps youve place in slots 1-23. Of course you already have a camp there, it will tell you something like cant place a camp you have one already. Then it hits the pause command and waits 15 minutes (if i did my math properly). The very next thing after 15 minutes its going to find a mob to attack. I recommend sitting up near Kor Vella 70 meters or so from a spawn point of vynocks or durni. After the mob is chosen youre going to be sending your pet in. Now remember we want the mob to come within range, so we dont want to powerful a mob your pet kills it and hopefully you arent to weak you cant shoot it before it closes in the 60 meters. The timer is to allow the pet to run to the target before you try to attack. This can be changed or modified to fit better timing. Then you want th epet to come back immediately. (because you need to shoot it to disband the camp). We are gonna pause 1 minute to make sure youve killed the durni/vynock. Then you will target yourself and heal damage then your trusty pet who is loyaly fetching mobs for you. Then im pausing 5 minutes in hopes the camp disbands by then. Then we have our almighty loop to make it start over. This time it will use a camp. If 15 minutes is too short or long adjust /pause 900 to something better suited to your needs. The same holds true with any of the pet and attack commands. This is a combination of my CH and Scout macros and find it useful.

If ive screwed something up please post and ill look it over again but going off the top of my head it seems correct.

I've just heard that a tumble command will let you disband a camp. I don't have any marksman, and I believe tumble is 0/0/0/2 marksman. Can anyone confirm this?

According to my testing, none of the tumble commands will disband your camp.
