This is one problem i will never suffer from. I have 2 accounts, master rifles/master ranger and master rifles and master doc. I harvest for me and no one else and i NEVER have to wait to be buffed. If i want cash i can track graul marauders and peko peko albatross for the jedis as on naritus they pay well and normally let u have the loot from it and harvest it as well.

I have not seen this sort of activity on Bloodfin. Meat is in such short supply, that I can sell a 1K unit stack for 60K.

I specifically keep my prices low just for the small time docs and those that don't have an organization helping them. 20 cpu is the highest price I even charge, and I'm still rich. Granted, not a multibillionare like some of those WS, but I need not worry about finances much at all.

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

Lay off the red? My god, what do you drink with steak?I couldn't live without a good red wine (Is it weird for a college student to know about good wines?).

Besides, Red is good for the heart.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I think there will always be that one rogue Doc that will buy for over the 'fixed' price. Then, the 'fixers' will get mad and not have any meat, so tehy will have to up their prices, and you are back to bidding wars. I think the economies are too out of wack to see price fixing take hold, and someone will always want the resource badly enough to cross the line. i wish you luck in the current wars...

Im not a greedy hunter i many times hunt for free for my mates but since our profession is one of the most time consuming i dont wanna see us guys and all the noobs getting jacked off over it....

i contract harvests usually for the same clients and sometimes help others on a one off but i aint gona sit bak watch a greedy doc ripping a noob hunter who mite think hes getting a good deal when he's non the wiser to what he mite of been getting.

yes some docs are paying 300cpu and thats up to them and hunters selling to them is no problem. but when the say the meat is worth 100cpu as a starter and doc start to say only 50cpu, it gota be stopped.

Well if a up and coming Doc can only pay 50 CPU, then make a deal that he supplies you with Stim B's.

Well, im an idiot. lol

See, i have very little ideas of other professions. I choose scout/rifleman and later ranger cause its just what suits me. So if what we do is highly time consuming as compared to what other people do, i havent the foggiest idea.

Well, last night i found out why the avian meat i put up on market goes so damn fast. And it also explains why ive seen my favorite hunting grounds swarmed by players the last few days.

Something went down in the player economy on bria. I don't know what it was, but where i hunt, i hunted because it was a good mix of white/blue/yellow on mobs, and there isnt a whole lot of player towns - which was my main reason for going there. I hate hunting in somones backyard,

So ive been there a good week. Last 2 days or so, ive seen ALOT more people than i usually do. Now i know why. At any rate, i was on my way out, heading to the starport to go to Tatoonie, Mos Eisly (where i sell my wares to so speak), when i spotted a guy offering to buy the exact same type of avian meat i was packing in my backpack. 200 credits per unit... nooo problem.

It was about that time i realized that the stuff i sell is worth alot more than what i thought, and ive also come to realie that the market terminal sucks. you cant post anything higher than 6000 credits. Ideally you want to sell organics in lots of 1,0000. You split your stack, you lower the percieved value of it. You just wont get your money's worth out of the market terminal, plain and simple.

Been there. If you are in a guild, ask one of your guild mates to supply you with a vendor and place your hides/bones/meat/milk there. I did that for quite a long time. that way you can sell them in any quantity for any price you wish, instead of spamming at starports.
