How much does a fully loaded harvest droid go for?

Dont use a probot as a harvester. He still has a little pea shooter so if he gets aggroed, he will try and fight. better to have the droid run

FYI: There's a pretty decent breakdown of the Scouting Droid on the Droid Engineer Board in their FAQ post at the top of the page.

I found one major, glaring downside to using a harvest droid that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere: you can't command your droid to harvest while you're "taking cover" (Marksman Rifles II). Everything I read said the harvest droids were perfect for Riflemen, but no one seemed to mention the inability to use droids and "Take Cover" at the same time.

I just purchased a +109 R3 Advanced harvest droid and took it out to a Nuna lair to work out the droid harvesting command bugs without risking aggro or injury. The droid worked fine until I used the "Take Cover" skill and then I was unable to communicate with the droid until I broke cover. To me this is unacceptable. When I hunt, many times it's for creatures that will aggro me or are social. Without "Take Cover," I risk upsetting the entire lair after my first shot. I was hoping to take cover, kill the first target (I can usually do that with my first three shots), send the droid in to harvest and continue onto the next target while still under cover. Now after I kill the first target I have to stand, send droid, go prone, take cover, attack and then stand again, send droid, go prone, take cover, etc. The extra steps of constantly having to re-apply "Take Cover" before each attack is unnecessary and a drain on the HAM.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not a droid hater; I love droids. I just want to make sure the Riflemen out there keep the "Take Cover" limitations in mind when deciding whether or not to get a harvest droid.

That's one thing that I didn't really notice, primarily because I think I've used the "take cover" command once.

It's one of those things in rifleman that's just not that useful right now. But your point is taken Zio.

Shaun,

Please detail HOW you get over 5k resources in 2 hours time. Do you take missions or do you hunt without going back to the OP after every 2cnd lair?
