Good advise from everyone. I guess I've just been doing my part for the player economy, trying to let the artisans come up with inorganics I can use. Nothing wrong with being self-sufficient, though. I think I might mosey over to the artisan forum and maybe appraise them of the fact that scouts could use some polymer on the bazaar. Anyway, nothing wrong with any of the advise I've seen here, so anyone who isn't sure would do well to listen to them.

I've used every kind of trap except Stink Bombs, because for the life of me I can't find musk anywhere even when I've foraged.

Musk? You mean meat? You can use meat in that place, works just fine.

also if you are a crafter with experimentation, crafting with a weapon and general device, if you craft near a crafting station, I believe that you get to experiment one of the possible experimentations is stack size. Im not sure that we can do so, but its something to look into.

I've done this and can only experiment on durability and -gah, keep forgetting the other thing. I'm pretty sure that stack size isn't involved in the experimenting process. But it's tough to be sure... I only get 1 point to experiment on traps, whereas weapon powerups I get 7 points. Not sure what the difference is there. Anyone else able to get more than 1 point on experimentation for traps/camps/ etc.? Now my stack size for bone spurs DID increase from 5 to 6 - but I think that was related to an increase in trap skill, not my crafting skills?

Polymer is Inorganic Petrochemical. You then look in the item description to see if it is polymer or a lubricating oil. Tailors use this a lot so there should be a bunch of it on the bazaar.

I think Im missing something... I've got Adhesive Trap and tried using Inorganic Chem as a Polymer and it will not show in the crafting menu (and yes its in my general inventory). I assumed I needed a specifc kind polymer, but, aftering reading up on this thread, that appears not to be the case? Another bug? Or am I just missing something silly.

Thanks!

All polymer's will be inorganic chemicals - but not all ingorganic chemicals are polymers. There are usually 4 or 5 different categories of inorganic chemical - only one of which is a polymer.
