Thread: Adhesive Mesh Traps Are GODLY...but...
I am a Master Ranger. Ranger traps fail a good percentage of the time on the higher animals, and don't even work on Krayts, period.
I can't tell you the last time I used adhesive. Pdarts and Glow wire / juice are pretty much what I use. I read that "pdarts only slow the creature down"... yeah, no kidding, and if I use my wittle brain, I am running uphill to get away, increasing the distance tween me and the beastie at a good rate. Half the time I get out of trap range, while still firing as I run... and wait for the trap to wear off and beastie to come arunning into range to tag him again.
Adhesive you can keep... it fails or plain does not work on the second (last) trap, it wears off too quickly if you are shooting at the creature, and by the time you make enough to actually use, your toolbar is nothing but adhesive traps, in the unhandy 2-pacl (lol).
Anyhow, you want cheap poly on the scylla server, find me... I got tons and tons since we don't need it for Ranger camps anymore.

I take my dog to a vet in Annapolis!
This sounds like we need a SWG Scout convention (read: excuse to drink heavily and look at nekkid chiqs) in the Baltimore/DC area.
I am in Annapolis as well.

Back to the Adhesive Mesh Trap thread.
Delta, do you think you could convice the dev. to increase the number of traps built to six and triple the materials requirement? Building 2 ina stack is almost useless. I already don't have much space in my pack with all my rifles, traps, and stacks of hides/bones/meats/metal/polymer.
Thanks,

I'll see what I can do.
At worst, it's on the list now.

Those get togethers are great. I organised one for EQ Rangers in Arlington a few years ago. At the start of this year I moved back to Oz otherwise I'd be up for joining you guys.
Now we just need to find a weekend that I'm free...
...this is harder than it looks.
