well not really....scouts/camps should have nothing to do with calling vehicles/mounts/DROIDS/Faction support.

\the real issue is needing camps to call anything. Especially vehicles and droids. It makes no sense. It makes even less sense to give this abilitiy to the Scouting profession since these items have nothing to do with scouts.

As i said I dont believe this is even a scout issue, it effects every one...

I have yet to hear any reason why Scouts get this privilage other than ages ago they tied craetures to camps to stop CHs from exploiting.

I dont really see where any solution needs a Scout endorsement or should involve you in any way.

No offense but you guys should stick to hunting and fishing or what ever it is that you do andnot be involved in anyhing dealing with droids vehicles or any thing else out of your realm

I'm on your side, but gratuitious slams on the scouting profession aren't helping you in this forum.

Unfortunately, the game mechanism for vehicles, droids, and faction perk pets is the same as creature pets. They're all 'pets' so they all have some basic rules that govern their use. So this particular bone of contention is, for better or worse, an element of the scout profession, no matter how illogical it seems to you. The game system made it that way.

For those of you not monitoring the Core Systems thread, GarVa closed down a similar thread there and suggested that the scout forum was the appropriate place to discuss.

Which is why Naufragus came here and started this thread.

Wonder what they will whine about next I do.

Personally, screw em. My camps are for me and certain friends. Not a lot of use to em now, but when and if we get the modular concept... well, we haf long memories we do.

Actually, free healing is rather nice, now I think of it. And the out in the middle of no place craft stations are handy.

Wish the rasps would quit eating on the roof and the rain would stay out.

Well, you shouldn't need a merchant to operate a vendor? All I'm saying is, let the dust settle before you stir up the hornets nest. Part of a profession perk (what was viewed as such) has been lost. Give it some time to sink in.

i really hope the modular camp idea would come about....seems like something interesting for us to do.
