I'm i need of a massive quantity of meat. NOT quality meat, a lot of nuna meat will do but i need around 30-40k units of the stuff.

I'm on the Kettemore server, however I'm selling the meats on the Bazaar. 200 meats is bringing 3000 credits (because of current harvest rates. 15 cr per ) ...Why would I settle for 4 cr? Not flaming you, just stating facts.

I don't understand what you mean by harvest rates Cylenthia_Tavishaun, I spent the better part of 2 hours on dathomir and i pulled down over 2k meat. the only reason i go so little is because the group i was with spent the magority of their time hunting nightsister slave camps not giant baz nitches or gaping spiders. I'm fully capable of gettting the 30-40k meat i need on my own but it takes a long time.

As for your prices i absolutely agree with you! I know some people think they should charge more for their harvestes...(and for the good stuff you should!)...but the low to mid range stuff really isn't that hot of a seller (your selling hagis not caviar) and i'm using this meat to grind which is why i'll be happy to take meat with crap scores!

as a side note i'm using this meat to grind which is why i want the junk meat with crap scores!

I know you want a good price for your harvests and for the good meats with high 800+ scores in 2 or more stats you should sell em for 8-15cpu but i'm not asking you to sell me caviar. sell me the low to mid range stuff (lets face it if its only got one high score or its highest score it below 700 your selling hagis not caviar!)

I've noticed that harvests are down but on the tougher mobs i can still pullin 50 meat in one single harvest. truthfully you'd need several ppl to do a good hunting party, but considering evveryone can harvest now, that should just mean more resources not less.

Here is my thinking, on endor hunting those ....something or other they're called (flying lizards that disease ya with special names like nightstalker,screamer) i get around 20-30 hides off the nightstlking ones and 50 off of the bigger screamer ones. so if say a big group of rangers with at least one good doc (for curing disease and poison) and some decent fire power 10 rangers could theoretically harvest 500 resources from one single creature and possible a couple thousand from one single nest. with a good enough group....you could mow down several nests in the span of one hour. u can get missions that point right to the nests of these creatures. with the group size ya wouldn't get much cash (u can find missions for over 21k each) but you would each be pullin a couple k in which ever resource you fancied.

i did just this and while we only got through 3 nests i harvested almost 1k meat. most of what we fought were the nightstalkers not the screamers unfortuanately. but with one single good doc and with 10 rangers with muscle.....these nests shouldn't even be a concern and easily farmed!

just a thought.....


i realize now that getting the meat i need is gonna be alot more difficult than i thought, but if anyone wants to join me in a well organized harvesting hunting party (and we can find a disease/poison curing doc) we could harvest a very hefty amount of meat with minimal delay or down time.

Do you also realize that those 10 Rangers and 1 Doctor have now paid 94,600 credits justin travel expenses to Endor?

Let's say we double your price to 8 cpu, we would still need to harvest almost 12k resources just to break even!! That doesn't count the hundreds of resources we need just to make our camo kits, traps and camps.

And I still haven't factored in the many hours it would take to get that many resources with the current nerf - even with multiple harvesting!!If youwere to get 3k resources per hour (optimistic) you are still talking 4 hours just to make your money back for the trip!!!I know, I just made a hunting trip to Endor with 10 Rangers and it wasn't pretty!!

And you can't always count on getting enough missions for a particular beastie so we have to track instead - therefore no mission money!

No, Endor and the other advanced planets are best left for only high quality stuff now!

Any low quality resources that you would want to buy would have to come from a starter planet and they are giving like 22 (for a master)for some pretty big beasties as an example. This makes the hunt a grind and, quite frankly, my grinding days are over!!

No thank you!! I'll just take my time and sell what I have on the bazaar for 10-15 cpu and they sell like hotcakes regardless of the quality. I can bring in 150k credits a day and sometimes even more by just restocking the bazaar.

It ain't like the good 'ol days anymore where crafters could just blow us Rangers off and go find some scout to do their slave work!!!

Zkull, i can't and won't argue with you as i can understand if you had a bad experience with a hunting party. Believe me when i say i've been there, done that and got the T-shirt!
But even considering all the Things you pointed out. The only things i can think of that might cause a problem is a lack of having something/someone tank for us and a lack of group team work. These things can be solved with a CH with a big pet that has a high kinetic resistance, and if the group can't work together and support each other than a good squad leader. Frankly if the group we put together can agree to work together i think we can forget the squad leader.

from naboo to endor it costs aprox 4400 for round trip for each person thats 48400 total. that means thats assuming the resources harvested are of decent quality and you sell them for only 8cpu it would take only 550 units to recoup the cost of your trip ticket. such an amount could potentially be gained hitting 2 lairs.

Now i don't know how much it costs for ranger traps so i can't comment on that. but the other costs i can at least make a guess on.

- assuming the doc we get isn't a friend of someone who comes along just for the massive xp to be gained being the only healer of note in the group one could be hired for say 10-20k (which if the other members each kick in 1-2k each is no problem and easily recouped. 250 resources each. the doc could be paid in resources rather than cash. 4k domesticated wheat would probably do fine to hire a good doc and such resources are cheap and would cost much less than 10-20k credits.


- traps or camo kits wouldn't really be needed i don't think, and unless someone REALLY needs the xp a simple multi-person camp would do fine for us.

- Basic camp kits used for the recalling of any pets that needed to be stored quickly due to poison or disease.

- the creatures I hunted have missions that are reletively easy to find at the mission terms, say 1-3 min of refreshing to get 2.

- considering the number of missions to the same creatures we wouldn't need to milk the lairs.

- If we focus on the creatures one at a time. (i'm a TKM and can kill a nightstalker solo within 1 min) with 10 ppl blasting and bashing...i'm guessing 10-20 seconds per creature and we can have the nest wiped out in less than 2 minutes.

- yes we will take damage (these critters are social) but if the Doc stays on his toes i really don't see how this is a problem.

- the biggest threat these creatures have is disease, and if the doc can cure it..well give him 1-2 minutes in between nests to patch us up and we can clean house.

- assuming 22 missions and all of them work. and average individual harvest of 293 per lair. (this is based off of what i harvested from 3 lairs last night)

- that means each member of the party is looking at potenially earning 6k resources and 42000 credits.


Costs
- flight from naboo to endor 4400 credits
- chipping in to higher a doctor 1k credits
- 2 basic camps along the way each 160 credits (aprox)
- potentially harvesting 6k resources and 42000 credits apiece PRICELESS


We all know that missions some time are duds and lead no where. Sometimes a nest doesn't spawn enough of the right creatures. but simply put if even half of the missions work we're still looking at a net gain of 15k credits and 3-4k resources (that means after u factor the costs). This is just my thoughts and yes they are optamistic but i don't think they are delusional.
