What I'm currently harvesting is Herbivore meats which the Docs use. I usually sell my stuff for 3/cr however the current Kettemore market is supporting 10-1 even 15-1 prices for quality, and 7-1 for lower quality. I understand the grindfor Iwas an Architect before giving it up totally to become a Ranger. I'm betting that some of the scouts would probably sell for that much though, since they are grinding through thelevels anyhow.

I hope your right Cylenthia, i'm working on Bio-eng and the amount of xp we get is tiny for the amount of resources we use. Considering the majority of the stuff we make is worthless to anyone else.

Supposedly our tissue tree is going to become functional with the next big patch which is why i'd like to grind now so i can actually have some market value!

Also just so you don't think i'm being cheap, i currently have just over 200k in creds which means at 4cpu i'll be almost broke buying all this meat! even if i create rather than practice i'll just have a ton of stuff no one will buy and if they do they won't buy anywhere near enough or at the amount needed to recoup my losses!

I don't want to give anyone impression i'm giving a sob story here, I'm just looking to pay a resonable amount for crap meat that any serious crafter wouldn't look twice at.

just for the record i'm not trying to be cheap and cheat anyone! I'm working on Bio-eng and currently there is ZERO demand for my services. it takes aprox. 70 meat to make a creature and at 10cpu not including the other materials and the time required to get the samples...no one will buy!

the tissue line of BE is currently broken (due to be fixed with the next patch supossedly) so there really isn't much of a market for that stuff either. I'm using the meat to grind my way up to master (in the hope that some day soon there will be a market).

I'm not and artisan, and the only income i have is doing money missions (i'm a TKM). I currently have a little over 200k which at 4cpu will just about break me once i buy 30-40k meat. I'm not giving a sob story here or asking for hand-outs. I'm just looking to buy crap meat that other crafters won't want because of the low quality.

I am 4/0/4/1 in scout so i can get this meat for myself but it takes for bloody ever to get it! which is why i'm looking to buy what i need.

i think 4 credits per 1000 is far to low, even before the nerf.
we put alot of effort into getting those hides and its harder than you might think, i think 6 per 1000 is fair, when the nerf hopefully goes away

Faith13ss, i know that scouts/rangers spend alot of time harvesting and i realize that you should get compensation for that time spent. I'm 4/0/4/1 in scout myself so i do understand. but go ask an crafter who needs meat if he or she would spend 4cpu on 1k of meat with low scores and his answer will invariably be 'no' the only reason he would pay more is because he couldn't get a higher quality of meat. simple as that.

As I said, I fully agree scouts/rangers should sell good quality stuff for high prices. But the only ppl who are gonna buy crap meat is low level crafters or people like me who are grinding. neither of these types of ppl can afford 10cpu or even 7cpu. It took me all week grinding money missions on tatooine (i'm a tkm so i can't solo lok, dathomir, or dantooine) to save up this 200k.

Since i need 30-40k units of meat to grind to master Bio-Eng (which again, has ZERO market value) i can't afford to pay 7cpu or higher i just can't! I'm gonna have to run money missions for a couple more days to afford the plants components i need for the rest of the grindng.

I just read the post about the resource decrease...i was wondering why things we're getting scarce

It's not that we're not interested- we are.

But this **edit** harvesting bug is killing off all of our business. We can't GET the meat you want to buy. It's a real pain.
