I've never seen the camp restrictions for calling pets/droids/vechicles as a "profession defining" aspect. It was a non-issue to me personally, but I could see why others would want the restriction lifted. As it has been said before in this thread, fewer Scouts (especially those who weren't Scouts by choice) means less potential competition for organic resources. Furthermore, if this "nerf" can be used to argue for camping enhancements, so much the better! Bottomline, if we play our cards right thischange can be used to ultimately improve the profession far beyond what we have lost.

Boohoo. Let's face it, scout is just a gateway profession. I don't know of one player that is a master scout....and that's it. Either they're going to ranger, creature handler, bounty hunter, or something...
If you don't like this new change then pull a camp every time you call a pet/vehicle....problem solved. Don't force everyone else to have to adapt to your play style.
I like this new change, I know don't have to waste 15 skillpoints just to call my vehicle...and let's face it that's one of the main reasons why alot of people kept scout.

Cyber,
You've now met someone who has master scout and that's it.
I don't have Ranger or BH, the only two professions required to have it.
And Sojourner is right.
Anyway, read my post above - it's over, time to stop talking about it and move forward.
