If you have survival one in scout use /forage. I find its best to do it near the water. You will get bait after several times of doing forage.
After you get one fish you filet it and get "Chum Bait" and that is just as good as the worm or insect bait you'll forage.

I'm not sure where else would be appropriate to post this suggestion, but it occurred to me today that it'd be nice if you slowly healed battle fatigue while fishing, maybe like wounds heal while in a camp? Fishing's supposed to be a relaxing pasttime, right?

This thread can be necroed all day long. Its worth it.
So if we need to get fish in much larger amounts have we heard of an update to how much meat we pull from each fish? I mean at our current levels of fishing it will take forever to keep up with demand.

To be honest I have found that fishing is the single most interesting thing in the game to do when your not interested in doing anything.
A lot like real life fish.
