I've heard getting a probot and using him to kill things and harvesting them helps alot?

Does anyone have any good spots they would like to share of where a scout can go with a probot to harvest some good xp?

I'm on tatooine right now.

I posted what I'm doing yesterday. I'm earning about 8-10k exp an hour. Should finish up tonight.

Buy them from a Droid Engineer or a Bazaar. Ask around at your local cantina and someone will eventually show up that knows where to find an engineer. Going rate is about 25k.

I know it's not the best way or the fastest way and it's very time consuming but I need about 2500 xp to reach novice CH. Look at the "Date Registered" under my name and you will see that I've only been playing a week as of tomorrow (Friday). So I got the game and started playing AFTER the mask scent nerf. I have gotten every point of scouting xp without using any exploit or any bot.

I know people will say that there's no way to get that much xp in that many days without exploiting or using a bot but what they don't realize is that you can't really manage this game time-wise based on "days played" you need to measuer it in terms of "hours played". I have played a total of about 34 hours so far. Yes I have a life but I'll bet a lot of people played the crap out of this game when they first got it too.

I got my xp from taking 2 missions that go in the same direction. I kill/harvest on the way to and from the missions as well. It's a great combo as you get scouting xp, weapon xp, combat xp, wilderness xp if you do some camping to heal up now and then, and the all important credits from the missions. It is time consuming but in the end you can say you did it all honestly.

What skills are needed to use a ProBot?

no skills needed for Probot usage

Best way I've found (for those who can't afford a probot) is to go to Corellia, seek out Dire Cats and kill those

This is what I get :

Female Dire cat (200 HP) :17 hides, 300 weapon EXP, and 80 scouting EXP

Dire cat (600 HP) : 22 hides, 600 weapon EXP, 113 scouting EXP

they're very easy, but warning, they're fast on their feet and do 100 damage (but I'm not wearing armor, so yah..)

Warning: My thoughts are likely to break out into words at any moment.

Well..I just bought a probot yesterday after grinding out Explore 4 and hunting 4 the old way. I made 14k scout exp in about 2 hrs just roaming around Nashal killing things. The Probot killed a group of 4 yellow fylocks at once. All i did was sit back and hit mask scent to gain some extra scout exp. After 2 hrs and 3 batterys..Probot was at 50% and it was time to go to bed.

Best exp I have heard is roaming from Bestine to Wayfare(sp) on Tatoonie. I cant believe I waited so long to get that **edit** bot.

get a ProBot,,, Killing and harvesting that many creatures alone will make you loose your mind (and also takes forever) ,, groups aren't really THAT much of an option considering most people have Novice Scout skills....

I wish I'd have just saved up for a probot in the begining *sigh*

I guess this is going to sound stupid, but where the hell do you even BUY a probot? I haven't even seen one on our server yet. Heck, the very first bounty hunters just became them in the last week. The best droids I've seen are a probe droid and the flying attack droid.

A probot sounds like a really effective tool. But what about those of us who'd like to go the way of the scout without helpful droids? Any suggestions on how we can get the scout XP without them?

Without using probots, I got my scouting xp by taking missions on Tattooine. Take two destroy missions going the same direction. Hunt/harvest on the way to and from the missions. Rouge Banthas (125xp) were the most xp followed by Scyk's (101xp) and Mutant Wamp Rats (101).

no need to use batteries on a probot

Just make a camp, store and re-call it
