Thread: Don't like current mask scent break at combat

The mask scent breaking at combat is how it was supposed to work - the fact that it didn't before was a bug, and its been fixed. And considering it costs us no HAM, no kits or anything to remask scent when combat's over, it's not that big of a change.
The incap thing was a bug that I thought was fixed on TC yesterday. Please be sure to /bug that, so the Devs know.

I think calling it a 'bug' might be a stretch as it's operated that way since beta if I remember right. Seems more like a change in desired application then an actual bug to me.
However, the change isn't a huge issue unless you are taking on mobs well beynd your means to begin with.

And whats the fun unless you are trying to take on Mobs well beyond your means. But now all kinds of things that didn't group on you do. The penalize you to group and they penalize you when you are solo.... When you are camoflaged why should everyone all of a sudden find you when you go into combat with one critter?

That's because there's something wacky going on there. It shouldn't be happening that way.

ive been getting xp from mask scent for a while now. what's different is now when you enter combat with a creature your mask scent breaks and everything around that creature agro's.Personally i think that sucks hope they change it back.
So everything has been BAF'n me now. This is complete BS. Who in their right mind would nerf something that did not have a major impact on the game, no one complained about, and made life generally harder than it has to be?
This just plain makes ppl mad and is exactly why nefing is a BAD thing.

Can you find something out for me while your at it. I got the mask scent breaking at combat...no problem. And I understand that as long as you "checked" against aggro mobs they won't stalk you until you leave their "aggro zone". No problem there.
Here's the problem. Mask Scent when you are in combat breaks and it reverts to the 20 second timer (for master scout). This shouldn't be the case I would think. Its no that we were "sniffed" out. I started blasting away at things what caused it to drop. I should be able to remask right after. Was this the intention to have the timer or just another bug?

It's not a nerf - we don't know what it is right now, and I'm trying to get clarification from the Devs on it. Once I know, I'll pass the info on to ya'll.
