I read something similar to this about a month ago. Couldn't remember where I had seen it. Looks like people are always looking for ways to lvl Survival as quickly as possible.

I've found that you can camp and fish at the same time. I do this myself on Talus. Right now I'm in the southern most city (can't remember the name). I go directly south ( to the ocean). Right before you hit the water, the land drops suddenly like a mini cliff. I stand right next to the water but not quite in. When I setup camp it levels the surrounding area and the camp in actually under water. (It's pretty cool looking tents 3/4 underwater). You can stand in the middle of your camp and fish from there. I'm sure you can do the same on other planets if you find the right place. I've also found that lakes/oceans seem to be better than rivers. Just try to get a steep incline from the water.

I did that on Endor without the cliff (couldn't reproduce) but I did get a screenshot of it.

How do you take screen shots? Is it just the same as taking a norm windows screen shot?

Just want to add, I just tried out fishing the other night and actually had a blast with it... It's not something I'd do hour after hour, but for a pleasant diversion it was quite nifty. If you haven't tried it yet, forage up some bait and give it a go!

Print Screen is usually it. You can double check by going into your Options menu and checking the keyboard settings.

Yes, I too finally tried fishing last night. Through up a camp on the sandy beaches southeast of Coronet and did some surf fishing. It was a pleasant break from craft-grinding in camp. Between sitting by my lonesome in my multi-person camp and hauling in the fish, I made 1000 Survival XP in a half hour or so. Not too shabby.

The fishing interface and graphics could use a little work to make it more exciting, but considering everything else that needs attention in the game, I won't complain about it.

Is there any way to turn fish into trophies that can be mounted on house walls?

Jai,

As long as you have stairs in your house, you can mount the fish on the walls. You just need to drop the fish on the level of the stair that corresponds with where you want it to go on the wall. Then push and pull until you line it up.

Fishing has definitely provided me with entertainment when needed. I know when I started SWG I couldn't really pitch a camp near the water, then at sometime I was able.... actually had one camp partially in the water!

Not a bad way to kill 2 birds with one stone (maybe pekos w/ blaster)....
