I'm fairly new. Right now I'm Marksman 3/4/4/4 and Scout 4/3/4/3. For now, I want to spend most my time running Destroy missions in the 6,000+ credit range. What's a good (fun) Elite combat profession fora Scout? I'm mostly looking just to have fun hunting, without spending too long to solo lair.
Any advice on tactics? Right now I hunt buffed, and I just kneel and plug away with BodyShot2 or HealthShot1 (pistol), afterdrawing the animal to me with rifle shots (still working on Rifle 4) and throwing one of each of my traps. Surely there's a better way to fight than that. Any recommended attack macros?
Thanks.

Br,
You'll have a lot of fun with rifle, especially once you get Countersniping 3. Flushing shot 2 is great.
Swordsman is also fun, but you're ranged, so I would go rifleman.
Your tactics are pretty solid for now - just stand at range and smack at 'em with the rifle. When the get in close, hit 'em with your pistol. Then switch back to the rifle for anything that's at a good distance.
You'll be there in no time.

Or you could go the masocistic route like I did, carbines all the way.... Bitter, nah...

Theres nothing better than standing 60m away and popping an animal -1000 health with your trusty tusken rifle then harvesting the meat with no damage

Rifleman is definitly a cool route (and one I would recommend for a Master Ranger). But, if you like the versatility of many types of ranged weapons and a lot of different damage types to choose from BH is fun. Its not as powerful as rifleman (on paper or in practice), but, BHs have exclusive content (Jedi missions and NPC bounty missions) and it really forces you to understand the game if you want to excel at it.

Doesn't really fit the template you got going but I prefered TKA or Swordsman that way you are right on top of them as they drop to harvest.

I happen to be a fan of the carbine. I'm master BH, carbineer 0-0-3-4 and I can take down some mos.

I can assure you I am no "fett wannabe". Personally, I'd like permission to kill the fanbois screaming for BH only Mando armor.
And I am transitioning into carbineer/pikeman, so I'm carbineer at heart. ![]()

i am part of the rare breed... pistoleer. No one really decides on this one, but i think once we get dual pistols, we will suddenly become flavor of the month....

Hippy, I'm no pacifist! I just believe in the "Rule of Law" and not "mercenary justice".![]()
Besides, I have to agree with GL on one thing, I can't believe people like Boba Fett so much....
