Wondereing the same thing myself. The only ways I know are to sit in camps or craft camps...will do the crafting for now.

Get a crafting macro that uses 7 crafting tools (there are plently of those kicking around the internet and forums). Then collect a huge pile of bones and hides and get practice building those camps. You will burn through the survival tree in only a few hours, this includes the ranger frontiering tree - just keep switching to the next type of camp everytime you get a new camp schematic to go through the tree quickly.

The benefit of this method is yes it uses a lot of resources but at least you get the other trees while collecting the required resources!

"Flood" your camp and fish while you have 5 people sitting in your camp. Change your camp out every 3 minutes. You will fill all of your survival boxes within 4 hours.

So you know the correspondents put a lot of work into these things called FAQ's or frequently asked questions. Then there is the fact that on page one of the scout forum and several on the ranger forum there are the same question.

So because of this our little correspondent says "Hey wouldnt it be easier if i placed this at the top for all to see!" and the crowd of people who already have the skills go "YEAH!" and there is much rejoicing.

Then the grinders come in ignore the FAQs. Don't bother using SEARCH and don't even scan the first page and post these threads OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. And there isn't any rejoicing over this.

First there is no way to disband a camp with a slash command
second yes its painfully slow
third stuck in those threads in the forums are hints on how to make it go really quickly! But i wont tell you because i want you to find it yourself
Lastly READ THE FAQ'S! Thats why they exist

Every question is an opportunity for us to guide and help new members. Theres a lot more to scouting / rangering than simply setting up camps etc.

Its not as if the forum is deluged in these types of requests, in fact post volume is laughable at best, which is no surprise given the hostility many new people face.

The single fastest way to level all camping trees is to do the following.

Have enough supplies to produce bulk tents in a factory. Be a member of either the Empire or rebellion, go overt and get a cheap faction pet.

Drag the icon of the faction pet onto a hotkey and write a macro that calls and stores that pet several times a second. Set up a camp, run the macro.

A few minutes later, disband the camp for close to max xp allowed by the type of camp. All this simple trick does is vastly increase your visitor count, thereby reducing the time the camp needs to be set up for good xp on it.

Personally I took more time with these trees because I actually like camps, but I know for some people they are just a pain and you want a faster way, so here you go. I prefer the old fashion way, but its not for everyone.

OR...

simply set your harvest droid with patrol points on either side of your camp and have him patrol. Each pass he makes logs as a visitor to your site. Won't take long before you get 50 something visitors.

And I'm of the opinion that the only reason you use factories to make camps and traps is to sell to lazy scouts and Rangers who would rather use some shortcut to gain xp instead of getting it by grinding out their own camps and traps in their camps. I'll sit down and grind out four or five camps and the same number of camo kits then go back to my house and store them in containers marked for specific planets. The Corellian camo kits go in the Corellian container, Dantooine in it's own, Tat, etc. That way, when I know I'm going off planet, I'll pull the container and use it only.

I also have split cases of stims, pet stims, droid batteries, brandy, vagesh and other assorted foods among them. Traps I keep with me all the time however, I have recieved some trap crates and I split them up as well. Even with a split case of ashesive mesh in my inventory, I'll still grind out more while in a camp.

True, however using the faction pet trick you get 50+ visitors in like 25 seconds.
